to this day it still amazes me how you cit nuts look at these green things and call one a sphere yet another will be an accumulator in my world of learning through all my years in hydraulic muck what you refer to all come under the one banner of accumulators just because of it's shape doesn't really conjur up a name change for me  anyway back to it nutters Yeah yeah... and they call me pedantic. I appreciate that they are all in fact accumulators in that they collect pressurised hydraulic fluid, however as you know, in Citroen speak, an accumulator typically has no internal valving as it is attached to a valve of some sort, whereas, what we colloquially refer to as a sphere has valving in its neck to provide suspension control charactertics as per the specific design for that accumulative pressure reserving device.
