u can get a satellite finder if u want cost about 30-50 dollars from any sat shop

but i just usually enter the freq into my reciever and search for the satellite and when i find it the signal meters on the reciever show me im on the right sat and get channels working

i used to use the CB aswell this is a total different ball game to me as cb aerials u just set up straight and ur set setting up a satellite dish is abit harder

if ur on pas8 to move to b3 u need to move the dish a few degrees left and lift the dish elevation to about 55-57 degrees until u find a signal on b3

a good program to use for this stuff would be gorbtrack has alot of technical details on how to setup a dish

download it from here
http://members.chello.nl/~berry.walda/GorbTrack_EN.htm

[ 26.
