A plane was diverted after a teen boy allegedly attacked his family member mid-flight. According to Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Air Canada Flight 137, was travelling from Toronto to Calgary when the melee broke out on Wednesday. The Winnipeg Richardson International Airport at around 12.20 pm (local time) received a report of a flight diversion to Winnipeg due to "an unruly passenger on board who had assaulted a passenger." As per the police investigation, the 16-year-old from Grande Prairie assaulted a man mid-flight who was later identified as a family member.
