Just 4 minutes ago, a 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck near Malatya, Turkey. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 10:46 am local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the first seismological agency to report it.
