Small earthquake of magnitude 2.4 just reported 8 km northwest of Skopje, North Macedonia

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 2.4 quake in North Macedonia near Skopje, only 14 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at 5:49 am local time at a very shallow depth of 8 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by The Seismological Survey of Serbia (SSS), which listed it as a magnitude 2.2 earthquake.
