The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a magnitude 3.7 quake in Italy near Salerno, Province of Salerno, Campania, only 4 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the evening on Monday, April 20th, 2026, at 8:47 pm local time at an intermediate to considerable depth of 287. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
