I woke early this morning with an earworm of “smoking in the boys room†which is weird because I usually have a wonderful Christian song lyric earworming me. An earworm or brainworm, also described as sticky music or stuck song syndrome, is a catchy or memorable piece of music or saying that continuously occupies a person's mind even after it is no longer being played or spoken about. I went out for my morning walk on empty rural roads where I rarely see a car or a person. On my way back a white car was on the road headed my way. As it passed, I saw a young man with his arm hanging out the window. He was smoking a cigarette and I got a good whiff of the smoke. We waved to each other and smiled. And then I realized, oh THAT is why I had the earworm. Precog! This occurred about an hour after I experienced the earworm. So we do know the future, eh?
