The U.S. Navy recently demonstrated a new capability designed to make autonomous aircraft easier to plan, operate and integrate into future combat missions.



During Gray Flag 2026 at the Point Mugu Sea Range in California in September, the Navy demonstrated Collaborative Autonomy Mission Planning (CAMP), showing how a mission planned by an operator can be translated into information that an autonomous aircraft can understand and execute.
