My box (ex Tarbs 3100) have stop recieving any chanell, at any trans. , having an IRD disable signal on, was working with no problem before that.I have own the box , and i have use to watch FTA on optus b3. Can any one tell me why the IRD disable signal,is UBI doing this?

have u tried unpluging the machine from the powerpoint?..try that if it dosnt work press the the reset button at rear while the card is out from the slot...then insert the card in again and press the reset button if it dosnt work..press the the reset button at rear while u press 1,0,55 then 0 ..that will make the card active 4 the machine and it will work 100%...good luck if u try all of em dosnt work post ur problem again and i will help u..good luck.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

Nothing ,at all,I set up the freq.and when it finish its search , it comes up with the IRD disabled message.

mmmmm..ok well thats means u need to reprogram the machine...and that will prob cost around 100 dollars so..i suggest u make ur dissision about either u subscribe all get a cheap reciever around $150 to get the FTA ch's

sookeye06,<br /><br />Holding down the Reset button for a long period of time will empty out the software so there is no use trying what you advised above as it does not work and your only going to destory the IRD in the long run.<br /><br />Steven A,<br /><br />As I've said before to watch UBI FTA with an ex TARBS IRD you need to call UBI on 1300 400 800 and subscribe. You will be sent out a contract. You do not have to send back the contract + payment until the channels are encrypted - you will be advised when to send the contract back prior to encryption. Dear Liski. I have call UBI early today before lunch,I have ask for a contract ,everything has been done,now 8 hours later nothing??? still IRD DISABLED.

I have new to this forum, I have recently bought a stb3100 from ebay, I just want to know how to receive FTA channels and what are available. Someone once wrote in one forum that this boxes could be modified to receive more channels, is it true , if yes how is it done?
