Yes its there, trouble is the Symbol rate is very low and most receivers don't like it, I tried it on my Nokia and its no good, but was ok with my Prosat FTA box using a 4.2M dish.
Phil

I had a 5m, it kept the neighbours amused for years. I wish I had acreage. :-( But we have a 32m at work, and I just had a look for the carrier. It is there, but our best satrxer can only do as low as 1Msps. Doh !!

I haven't ever thought much about it, but small carriers don't need as big an antenna. I might have to get me a prosat like phil has and give it a go. What sort of traffic is on it ?

Actually we have 3 x 17 metres dishes, 1 x 32m dish, 2 x 11m and 1 x 4.8m dish.

http://www.austech.info/forums/show...perpage=15&display=&pagenumber=9

My pictures are on my other compter at the moment and I'm having ISP issues today. The link to this thread should give you a few good pics.
Oxford Falls is the picture I'm refering too.
The other sites where we work, Gnangara, Hong Kong & Bendigo also have some nice clusters of antennas that we get to play with.
Generally one antenna is kept tracking on the same satellite, but it is not hard just to pick off a spare coaxial port and connect it to a spare decoder somewhere. If a whole antenna is offline, then that just makes it more fun if we want it for monitoring another satellite that we don't have traffic on.
