OK...Now that UBI has announced the new Latino package I am in desperate need of a compatible box for UBI. At the moment I am using a Humax and I am getting TVE and some other FTA channels on OPTUS B3. Once they encrypt the signal my humax will obviously be useless for the UBI signal only......Now I wish to purchase one of those ex-tarbs STB 3100 which you can get on ebay.....now my question is are they good enough??? what about if the box has been modded before, will it still work???<br /><br />and finally, does anyone has a spare box you would like to get rid of, pm me a quote if you dont mind!!!!!

recomendation, call ubi for a box purchase, price around $200 dollars if you got the dish.<br />remember if you buy it from another place, the box could be faulty, damage, etc etc.<br />modded box very risky to use it in case you find one.<br />cheers<br />Satmaniac.

thanks for the info SatManiac.....problem at the moment is that apparently there are no boxes here in WA....have to get it from melbourne $270 including delivery...a bit pricey i reckon!

Thanks I called them and one is a 1300 number and they are in Melbourne, the other is a local number and the guy hasn't call me back yet....I'll keep on trying
