Hi guys

I am looking for a receiver with a sensitive tuner like the ID Digital-24. I have read some reviews and now I feel more confused than when I started... I have read about Nokia, Xtreme, Stron, eMtech, Humax, Fortree star and Topfield...

Maybe someone here could suggest me a good unit, for starters I want a unit with a sensitive tuner (I am currently using a Humax 5410z on this particular frequency on PAS 10, problem is that it tends to disappear everytime after 7 am and comes back at around 1:00 pm (Perth Time)....I used a ID Digital-24 and the signal was OK troughout the day).....

So maybe someone here could suggest me a good unit with a sensitive tuner (other than ID Digital- if money permits I would like to buy something better than a ID Digital -24)....unit must be Irdeto capable and if possible maybe a HDD for digital recordings....

any ideas or even if anyone here is interested in selling a receiver just post the info and I'll reply ASAP

thnaks

yes signal is very weak at that time of the day (PAS10 3764V 2941 3/4)...and yes others are also affected in my area....funny thing is it is only that transponders the rest of channels are ok.... I have actually asked the company and they say the problem is at panamsat....that was 2 months ago...I have a 3.0 m mesh dish, according to someone with a 3.0 solid dish, the signal doesn't disappear but it is very weak at that time....thats why I want to purchase a receiver with a sensitive tuner.....

tonight I'll do another experiment, I am hooking up a ID Digital for the whole day and record everything, (I am having doubts of my first experiment) then when I get back from work I'll check the tape and see if the signal was on all day...

Thanks lazer... well this is strange at the moment I am monitoring frequency PAS10 3764V 2941 3/4 and it is going up and down like a yo-yo...it goes from 1% up to 40%...it is 8:30 am Perth time, I am using a ID Digital sensor 24....whereas frequency 3797V 3003 2/3 it is fine and stable 62% signal quality...

but why every single day???? I cann't understand why????....it is only a cristian channel, there are no copyrights issues on their programs...this channel is also on pas9 and have contacted people from south america and they have no problems at all....so the problem is when the signal is uplinked to PAS10 .... or could it be that the footprint changes every single day due to atmospheric conditions and that perth is on a sort of border line???
