I was over my mates the other night and he bought a chipped UBI box 3 weeks ago it has stopped working, I don't know what the problem is as he is blaming the Electrician as he shut the mains off and after turning it back on the box has nothing. He called me I went over,I re-scanned it and it still has nothing. Was he unlucky that the shutting off the 240v killed it.

I just got of the phone and it seems that another UBI box has died.<br />Something is going on? or is this a coincidence.

Every time you unplug/plug TARBS box, its software will check for update and reboot. <br /><br />Usually, modded boxes die in the process... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/default/rolleyes.gif" />

they are hitting non authorized decoders....so if you have or planning to buy a modded box your not going to be happy...

I was told the very same thing by Aysu, a turkish chick that used to work for one of the MDS receiver selling places, Liski would know more about it than I but she was the one that told me that very same thing.

HaHaHa Just Imaging spending $850 on a chipped box only for it to last 4 weeks and you have no comeback.<br />And just think back in the TARBS days theses scumbags were selling these Pirated setup for $1200<br />installed.
