Hi, Im a newbie and Im trying to tune to pas8, <br />My question is, does anybody know the LNB setting and frequency setting in the receiver for this satellite?<br /><br />I keep getting TP Error and no sigal strength?<br />Please help......:>

Are you sure your on Pas8?<br />There isn't much FTA up there, but try these.<br /><br />LNB should be 11300<br /><br />Guangdong Satellite TV<br />12575 H SR 13845<br /><br />TV Plus Platform<br />12726 H SR 28066

Thanks for your responce.<br />But Im not sure what setting the LNB on the dish (looking from front of dish) for PAS8.<br /><br />I dont know what to input in antenna set menu on receiver for: LNB power? should it be 13/18,13V,18V,OFF?<br /><br />Also in antenna set up menu: 22KHz, AUTO,ON,OFF<br /><br />My receiver is a Dreamax DT470..Melbourne NS<br />Please Help....

it should say on the lnb..<br />11.3 or uni<br />Your settings is 11300 and you need to set it on 11300.(if you wanna view to Pas 8

if you are using a universal lnb the "lnb type" should be 9750/10600

Check you please check the Polarization on that chart for Pas 2 and say Optus C1 and B3<br />Pas 8 its -25.105

Thank Heaps Guys...<br />Finally found PAS8 last night before the storm.<br />55%~65% signal.<br />All your information was very valuable.<br />5o'clock rotation on LNB helped a lot. It really helps to have a SAT FINDER meter.<br /><br />Pretty impressive data Highpoint...<br />Still have to fine tune it......

you only need the elevation, azimuth and polarisation the rest is too much. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> <br /><br />are you using a 65cm dish drfeelgood?

I think its 70cm slighty oval , the LNB is offset.<br /><br />I was thinking about fitting a dual LNB to pick up optus 3 on the same dish?<br />Are the birds too far apart ,?<br />It might be easier just to get another LNB & 60~90cm dish..With a Diseqc. switch.<br /><br />What other Satellite is good for FTA on the Ku band?<br /><br />Thanks for your time;><br /><br /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/default/cool.gif" />

Dual LNB is for same satellite . 2 box to watch 2 diferent channels.<br />You mean moteck motor to move the dish to satellite to satellite.<br />Yes you`ll get some satellites with moteck ,But I701 bit faraway from B3 and and difference LNB settings.It wont lock easy.<br /> <br /> <small>[ 30.
