Over the last few months I have received quite a few PM's complaining why don't I remove Apsattv? As you can clearly see he only serves one purpose, to discredit UBI in any way. Now, I have a policy that I don't like banning people unless they do something personal against me, but as this is the first case where I am continually getting members PMing me asking me why I don't act. Now, if I ban him, he will call me a one eyed dictator because thats apsattv, so what I will do is I will allow the members of this forum to vote on the removal of Apsattv and also if you like you can put your own comment. By doing it this way, Apsattv can see its not me thats against him, its some of the members and I am getting sick and tired of answering PM's telling people the reasons why I have not banned him so far.<br />The decision is yours members.

I will leave my vote to a later stage.<br />GO FOR IT!!

Remove him as he contributes nothing but trouble

If people are going to be banned for trivilaties ( is that a word ? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> )such as daring to say something against the majority , its pointless joining up as a member to a forum.<br /><br />I would like to think that the majority here have a sense of fairness ( excluding the handfull that salute Phile everytime he posts )and that there is at least some scope for the right to post your opinion.<br /><br />I voted dont ban him. I also dont agree with everything he says , nor do I agree with everything Phil says either. But I do respect the right of each to post and enjoy reading the posts of both.<br /><br />The current small amount of posters of late is reflected by the fact that if you arent pro UBI you get abused.<br /><br />And before Phil's " saluters " jump on me , I am a friend of Phil's both on and off this site. I read all of Apsatv post he hates UBI so why is on this forum any way, I see someone just voted for him to stay he just voted a second before me and I know who he is so say your bit down here if you want to show your face.

I have given my vote to remove him, although I don't think he has caused the problems to me directly but since I install dishes for a living and I do install a few for UBI, I tell my customers that have the internet please don't bother me, read the Aus-city forum, join the forum and ask questions there as I have a life and a business to run, but whats happened is ever since Phil and Liski have shut up shop and especially Liski, who doesn't answer any nore questions on the public forums, my phone has not stopped ringing. Why? Because the ****wits on these forums that cause trouble have made Phil and Liski the way they are and this has caused the drying up of information. This means that my ex-customers and future customers are ringing me up, emailing me, asking questions that could have been answered quickly on the forum.<br /> APSATTV <br />Apsattv does not run a forum but he does run a chat room on Tuesday nights, but the part that makes me laugh is on his site, he says very clearly that he does not condone the piracy of pay television, but on his chat room, they seem to have a different set of rules in there and I encourage pay tv providers to keep an eye on his chat room.<br /> BORING<br />You say this forum is quiet! Actually in the last 12 months these forums have picked up a lot. After all its only a guests forum, isn't it? You look at all the biggest satellite forums in Australia and they are all dead compared to their hay day when Foxtel and Austar could be ripped off by smart cards. The major forums in Australia are dead and are only relying on the other non-satellite related forums to keep them alive, at least Aus-city doesn't suffer from this problem.<br />For Apsattv, there are some skeletons going on that we the public do not know and who knows one day it may be revealed why Apsattv hates TARBS and UBI so much. I have spoken to Phil plenty of times over the phone and for me he is too lax but he doesn't make a living from this forum, he lives for his family and all the toys he has, which I have seen as I was one of the lucky ones to meet him last christmas, like a few of us have on this forum. Again, Apsattv I don't think Phil gives a shit otherwise he would have banned you straight away, he has told me he has known you for a long while and thats the only reason you are still here. Currently, there is 1614 members here. I do not think that 807 members reckons that Apsattv needs to be banned. <br />So far, only one member voted for banning and put his name to it. That is only fair. If we can't see the names behind votes, it's worthless poll.<br />I have no exact oppinion about Apsattv but as far as I know, he's never insulted or personaly offended anyone (unlike some other members who are still here...see above.) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" /> <br />He's not hiding the fact that doesn't like U.B.I. but I do not think that it is sufficient for a ban.<br />Anyway, making this POLL and TOPIC about Apssatv, will (and already) made him a Famous Kiwi... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/default/rolleyes.gif" /> <br />Probably, that's what he wanted in first place.<br /><br />I voted against banning Apsattv.

Well I voted not to ban. I run a satellite installation business. In Taiwan it's legal to view any sats that beams in here FTA or Pay TV with legit cards. It's illegal to provide hacked copy cards and I don't.<br /><br />Some members who read this forum are not in Australia. There are a few Turks in Taiwan who would like to have UBI but the Tarbs failure ahs left them not very trustful.<br /><br />I also write a lot on other forums. Each forum has their own rules so lets just abide by them. Personal animosity aint gonna help.
