iam trying to setup my humax and 90cm uni lnb to catch pas 8 world media lbc art and so on what should the lnb setting be on i have freq 12646h 28066 3/4 lnb on universal but cant catch pas 8 i can get b3 at 152 c1 at 156 and bloody pas 8 should be at 166 but no luck so far i have compass and satellite finder all i need is more brains HELP

Did you re-adjust you LNB a little anti clockwise for Pas 8, If you don't do that you will get nothing.

p debono don't you have to have a sniff of pas 8 before you try re-adjust lnb first

elevation should be for sydney<br /><br />47.567 degrees<br /><br />search for a program called GORBTRACK on google its a really good program and gives u all the info about setting up a dish

dan04 i have been a paid subscriber with world media for 2 years on c band i was trying and still trying to setup dish for someone else but so far no luck I'll have another go on the weekend

i had problem getting Pas-8 today in Melbourne, i brang the spectrum analyzer home from work and found the bird, however it turned out the reciever had very poor sensitivity, (live in an area covered by trees) and could not get a good lock. Changed recievers and was just ok. Im sure the Humax reciever is good though
