Look big mac you were a tarbs customer you have everything that is needed it will not cost you a single cent , except the monthly fee and that's it.<br />When UBI encrypts the channels join them as it will not cost you anything! A big if UBI loses the channels your after, then you will have no alternative but to join TV Plus in which then you will pay extra set up costs.<br /><br />Why join TV plus now? when UBI has your channels? by joining TV plus you will have your channels only but joining UBI you have a lot more channels and the sound and quality are better.<br />Dont beleive what people say they are just desperate they need subscribers for TV plus to serve their interest,<br />I will not explain anymore Im sick of typing and I dont care what you people do it's your money you are wasting not mine.<br />If I was in the same position I would do as I have explained<br />All this stupid stories that you cant move your TARBS dish other than to PAS8 is all bullshit its just a way to scare people<br />And if you (in general) beleive it you are crazy.

Well i was not a tarbs customer, my father signed up before they went down and he paid the connection fee of $120 and they went bust before they could install the dish and the box can he get his money back somehow?

I would say if you have proof that you paid for connection like a Bank statement or Credit card statement as it shows how much tarbs took out has the company name and date, they may credit you by giving you 2 months free subscribtion a way to pay you back.<br /><br />This is just my thought but you will have to call them and discuss it with them<br />1300 400 800 is their number

Any service that is payed for via Credit Card can be " charged back " if the service is not provided as promised.<br /><br />It is very easy to do but not widely known. Before Ja blurts some sort of garbled bullshit about it , ring your bank and ask THEM about chargeback and how it works.

Yes I got my money back like that too.<br /><br />My billing was the 30th of each month cuz I joined on the 30th. Merchant stopped 2 days before TARBS closed<br /><br />My monthly fee was $49.95 but they refunded $39.95 (because one week was used up)<br /><br />It only took 2 weeks to do.<br /><br />You must go to your bank and fill out a Credit Card dispite forum.<br />The refund from the bank was very easy because they knew about the TARBS case
