New spanish channels to be appearing. See new slide on channel 39, 40, 41 & 42

thanks for that bigchief, but apparently they been there for a while, even on 39 allways saids "cine latino" which it could be the famous mexican channel or a ubi own created channel in sydney.<br />Let's wait for it.<br />Cheers.<br />Bond007

Cine Latino & Telefe should be on mid April and the other 2 new Spanish end of April

finally the promise is coming from ubi,<br />getting telefe as before with tarbs.<br />but the gold is the one from cine latino, and the others.<br />Signal coming soon on C band guys.

Well about time somebody will have a real pay tv company that will satisfy a huge population from Australia,I am refering to to the ethnic communities with good quality channels. The only problem is some of the ex tarbs boxes upthere and have been disconnected for a little while still do the encrypt channels when I recconect them,Like arabic and Turks,I think is about time U.B.I to upgrade right now before another people keep testing and by-passing the the card and watch everything for free..<br /><br />Regards Tracesat

Liski, this sounds great.<br /><br />I heard some time ago that Olisat was going to start trials in the middle of this year + SelectTV or I-view "plans" to start transmitting may or june as well.<br />How true these reports are is anyone's guess.<br /><br />If UBI can actually deliver on this promise soon, it is quite likely that a large part of the Spanish community will sign up with them thereby rendering the attempts of the other companies (at least at a spanish package) useless.<br /><br />The package sounds promesing UBI. Don't stuff up!

i like !!!! its good i mean I-view and UBI will now start competing for the Spansih Subs and this can only mean more channels For Spansih people as they try to out bid each other with more and more channels!!! 5 channels that cover everything Music, Entertainemtn ect.. is good Sports channel would be great too but i can;t ask too much !!1 24 hour movie channel is great

I talked to UBI, they said 2 spanish chans will come online by mid april and others will follow later, contracts are still being finalised

Yes Mid April wr will have TVE + TELEFE and CINE LAtino which have already been signed but the music and entertainment channel will come latter.

i think its at the end of this week/

I was watching OBN this morning and then the channel stopped for a brief second and i saw a paused image of Telefe Int it had it the top right corner and then it quickly changed back to OBN...so im guessing UBI is doing something to bring them channels online asap

In Perth?<br /><br />I rang UBI yesterday and they gave me 3 numbers.<br />1st Number didn't answer all day.<br />2nd Number in Melbourne (very knowledgeable staff by the way - really impresssed).<br />3rd Number said he had same box as mine with SC for $220.

isn't suppose that telefe and cine latino suppose to start in the middle of april and all the other should start next month? Is it going to belong ? Is it going to start next month? or when
