the chilean community want it on UBI but i think its just in talks for now. simply who would get I-view for the same price as UBI when you get more with UBI ofcasue the chileans i don;t know but its smart for tvn to go with UBI

I have emailed TV Chile a couple of times and still no reply from them.....previous emails were replied promptly but now things are quiet!!!!. In my previous emails I told them they basically have 2 options:<br /><br />1. join "the other company" and expect to be running for at least a month and then they'll be forced to shut down the deal due to a total lack of customers<br /><br />2. The monthly fee will not rise - The only extra fee that I can think of would be for something like the Movie Network as on TARBS.

One thing at a time anthea, one thing at a time.<br />You can see what UBI are up to. First it was the Arabic package,, they are all happy. Then it was the Turkish package,,, now they are all happy,, The Next was the Spanish Package now we all know they are happy, and I can bet the rest of the packages following will get the same so just be patient its impossible to do every package at the same time.

You musn't bag SelectTV since, in my opinion, the reason UBI has the great Latino package we're all enjoying now is due to TV Chile going to SelectTV.<br /><br />Who knows, if it hadn't been for this "possible" threat UBI might still have stuck with Telefe, TVChile, TVE and Globo as its Latino package. Which ALSO in my opinion, was a pretty crap package in comparison to what we've got now.

And if anything ever happened like this its not a matter of stealing a satellite for B1 its a case of getting a Spare which are available and correctly position it in either position so their is no disruption of any service for anyone.

Mr roy4hire...First of all I am not talking "poo-poo"...you are right when you say that I know nothing about satellite.....but let me put this in a clear context so YOU and anyone else understand the reasons behing my comments....<br /><br />first of all as a Latino customer I would get annoyed if something goes wrong with our Latino package...especially after subscribing....<br /><br /><br /><br />I am NOT saying that it will happen, but this is how many people (satellite illiterate - like me) see the above issue....so the only way for us to get a good feedback from the real satellite pros on this forum (moderators = polite people-who dont flame anyone, unless they have a real reason to support an argument) is to ask questions.......just read the above link and you'll see what I am talking about....<br /><br />In the meantime thanks for your comments
