Smart Card no. then he said to me that to be able to activate the IRD which this is disable or deactivated, I will have to sign a contract with UBI for 6 months by $59.95 a months plus an activation fee of $49.95 is to say $409.85 that I will have to pay to UBI to get activate my IRD enable.<br /><br />After explaining that box was bought from TARBS for $850 and that UBI did not have right on my equipment and that now I have an alternative to connect me to another company like SelecTV. He insisted that is the only way that UBI could release my box...<br /><br />Question to LISKI iTV, What is this robbery or fraud? im pretty sure the 3110 box wont work at all on PAS8<br /><br />and the 3100 box wont load the freq 12726 this is not a cause the box is disabled its the signal that is sent to the MDS box that confuses the box and doesnt load anything so all this trouble to get ur box enabled seems like a waste of time to me as it wont work on 12726

Chile Sat,<br /><br />First of all TARBS never sold decoders 3 years ago - They only started to sell them a year before closure and the price was never $850 - try closer to $270.<br /><br />If you tune your IRD to the UBI Freq and are not a subscriber you will be disabled. The TARBS decoder is not a FTA decoder<br /><br />UBI have the right to protect it's signal.<br /><br />The actions Foti took were the correct actions. There was also no need to display his employee number.
