I was called 4 times today at the Gold coast to check why the TARBS boxes were not working..To my surprise all the boxes had chips and one of them was a clone box,I asked them where they bought the boxes from,And they all said they bought them from Victoria Melbourne,Well it seens to me that by switching the channels around from one transponder to another it mess up the memory in the boxes and kill them..

Well done IT people from U.B.I thats the way to kill all chipped boxes...Well i charged them $75 each for telling them to subscribe to U.b.I..

Yes it is good news but I wonder how many of those people that have dead chipped boxes actually called UBI to ask why their decoder doesn't work

Well you can't help bad luck. All I can say is STIFF SHIT!!. In Melbourne back in the TARBS days they were charging $1200 to $1500 installed for a Pirated TARBS system.

This is not going to resolve the piracy issue. I know a lot of Turks who are cancelling after the 6 month cntract is up and get their boxes modified for a cost of only $180. There are people that have been watching since January 05. The swapping of channels around is causing problems but UBI should not celebrate yet. They really need to go after this piracy issue seriously or they are going lose alot of money.

I think they will but you must understand that they are very limited in their staff which at the moment are everywhere.
My opinion is once things settle down no more channels to be added, the boys are sipping cups of tea with their feet on the table then they will be able to tackle the piracy problem. Thank God they don't use Irdeto otherwise there would be trainloads of dreamboxes coming into the country.
