I'm new to this forum. Planning on installing UBI at home. I would like to see more than 3 channels on the balkan package before I pay $50 a month.<br /><br />I understand there is a another macedonian channel comming up(k15), wthat will bring the channel lcount to 4 of a supposed 8.<br /><br />Most of you are affiliated with UBI, can you give an indication of when and which channels maybe comming to UBI ( so it can pursuade me to jump on)<br /><br />Thanks.

Well i called UBI up, and got the soon answer. I guess for my friends and I, a simple "soon" isn't good enough.<br /><br />Hope someone else can shed some light on this one.

Very soon. I do know the final touches are being put to the Macedonian Teleport next week.

Balkancic,<br /><br />That is correct - all Balkan channels will be through the Macedonian Teleport.

One of my friends receives A1 and a Romi channels from macedonia in the Netherelands, thought abotu those?<br /><br />all sounds exciting, I think the subrscriber base will increase dramatically if you can pull all those channels in.

You never know your luck, all I know and can say is more work is required at the Teleport site starting next week.

A1 is just about to start broadcasting in North America

Is UBI r going to open this channels. A1,BTR Sat,Orbis TV, Kanal(channel)5 & K15 on UBI World TV soon. because macedonian community will be happy & one more serbian channel

well I am seriosuly hoping we get something, I just know my family wont join tv plus for sure so now all hope is on ubi and if that fails well I ll have to stick to community tv YICKS (nah its ok that one)

It will happen but some things take longer then others but being Macedonian myself I'm also waiting and I know they are coming.

Liski,<br />Any update on this one? in this agressive satellite tv market, things moving quick. I read that A1 has gone to tvplus as well as orbis.<br />Where has that positioned UBI now? What can we expect? Personally I think that Orbis is sh*te.. but spewing about A1.<br />btw. still haven't decided on which way I am goign to go. I am counting on UBI coming through with something "soon".

Just think for the Balkans crew what they have had to put up with. I wonder what would have happened if UBI got the Pink collection of channels plus the BN and BK I wonder if this mess would have been like it is now. UBI other main packages, Arabic Channels around 20, Turkish channels around 10, Spanish channels around 9, soon by the look at it Greek channels around 10 and anything from the Balkans region is a big fat state of confusion talk about the Balkans rip off.<br />If it was not for the UBI/Tvplus shit fight the Greeks would have had their channels months ago and I would have had more installations to do.

One of my friends just told me that they moved the balkan channels into a tight slot. in late 50's.. and have greek channels in their place.<br /><br />Looks like the balkan channel line up is going to take a back seat.<br /><br />One has to ask why would UBI go to the trouble of moving all the channels around, just to have to do it again in a week or so.

Well I won't get into that but I have repeated it a 100 times that I would have loved for TV plus and UBI to both have shared Pink extra, Pink plus ,BN,BK. This way the Balkans people would have had competition and a guaranteed service.

Personally I think the Balkans channels will be going on the 6th carrier whenever that gets turned on <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> .

but meanwhile we want to enjoy planeta as fta LOL...such a nice preview today it was...ARGHH.....
