I didn't check them today and I don't know if they gone worse but I've been having the same problem for months.

NTV and Show TV are the worst ones but u can see the pixellation on all channels if there is fast moving action in the picture.

mind u NTV gives F1 and basketball games, imagine how terrible picture quality we get in these type of programs.

Yes thats bad news if the picture pixels on fast movement, I will try to find out but I think it has something to do with the compression they are using.
Foxtel had a similiar problem with some channels and they swapped them around and it sorted the problem out.

That would be compression artifacts due to low bitrate.

It does happen when you have high bandwidth demand from all the channels in the transponder and the system cannot cope enough on allocating bit rates...Thats why you don't see Pay TV operators having all the sports and high demand bitrate channels on the same compression system..

You would also find it is more evident on some TV's than others.

The customer rang me up again saying its still doing it every now an then, as long as UBI know about it as I have told them that UBI is very busy at the moment and will look at this problem at a latter date, Sharp you're correct on those two channels.

Thats about it, they have limited staff and they are trying to get all the Greek channels up and running very soon. And I would expect the Balkans channels to follow soon after.
