Doing some reading some of us are scratching our head trying to work out what will fit where.<br />Just say that the 4 existing spare spots are taken by the Greeks now that should keep them happy and by the look at it the 6th and possible last UBI carrier will be turned on and by reading this forum that will give you 13 more channel positions. <br />Now what will occupy them? Even if UBI gets another 5 to 6 balkans channels and say 4 or 5 Phillipino channels thats not enough to fit English channels so is it possibe for UBI or the capacity of Optus B3 to give them a 1/2 or even a full transponder if they need it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

If they need more space im sure they will get more no need to worry <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

I would say so, It would be interesting to see <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> whats left on B3 for the HP Beams.

I bet it will be. <br />To take a guess when it will be switched on I would say in another few weeks as Ive been told there is heaps of work to do back at UBI HQ before it can be turned on.

A few weeks Mr Debono? looks like any extra channels (whatever they may be) might get pushed into JAN?<br /><br />Especially if the teleport works happen round' the christmas/new year break.

Only if the new carrier is turned on so whenever that is turned on get ready for some action but like I said before I think it will be weeks away yet as there is a reason for that which I have explained before.

UBI quiet this week, just say, some need a rest before getting into it again next week

Talking to a friend at Optus and he told me it won't be long before UBI's next carrier will be on. I asked why the delay and he said there is no delay it was never intended to have it turned on yet.

Its getting to close to Xmas for anything to happen this year. My bet will be the first quarter of 2006.

It won't be long before its party time again, as for the 6th carrier I still don't have any news whats going on if it will arrive towards the end of 2005 or early 2006.

I for one cannot see to much action happening now so close to the end of the year. Well the way I look at it there is always next year.

A bit of a con if you ask me, UBI customer service rep said to me that the new balkan channels where coming soon... in october!! (in order to get me to sign up). Being a sceptic, I thought I would sit it out and I have been proved right. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> <br /><br />My advice to people is to hold out unti UBI are prepared to put all the cards on the table so you can see what you will be getting before you commit to any subscription (regardless of what package you are considering to subscribe to)

Well I would expect all to do the Above, I would never sign up for any contract without seeing the goods first.
