I notice the poor transmission of channels.<br />basically community not happy with UBI .<br />pixellation and loose of signal the most common problem and to be more explicit in broadcasting we call it ARTEFACTS on stream signal.<br />and is not my dish or lnb, almost all my friends in the same situation on the last 24 hours.<br />what a shame UBI.

they wanna make new customers happy by squeezing 72 channels in but they upset old costomers by doing so.

OK fellows, this is Brisbane, and been a satellite dish installer it is sad, yes sad when people are becoming more and more unhappy, first the big issue with TV COLOMBIA, most of the colombian customers complaining about it, ok ok they got the signal back, but for most of the Latino, spanish community spanish tv means almost entiry life, even not mentioning old members and olders at retirement villages here in Brisbane, Gold coast,etc.<br />on then night of December 24 2005, at 10:45 big problems with signal, yes it was a Christmas party and for spanish people 24 of December it is the big show in relation to Christmas, and as I said not picture for a while and very dissapointed with the service. I been working on the industry for more than 20 years at a bigger Broadcasting Station and I understand broadcasting issues are just around the corner everyday, but this is becaming more and more often, Hope UBI can provide a better service at least in relation to the spanish tranponder which is the weakest on optusb3.<br />Cheers and Happy Newyear to you

all of 12640 seems to be FTA proberly trying to fix it and have changed PID's maybe this might resolve the problem <br /><br />I suggest putting ur UBI boxes on Standby to recieve the update

See its simple, if greedy pricks wouldn't lower themselves to steal UBI services UBI would not have to go to the great lengths of trying to stop it and unfortunately sometimes things go wrong. P Debono<br />I can tell you this that one of my spanish co workers sells pirate boxes and when there is a problem his customers ring him and he rings UBI complaining and abusing them. See he subscribes to UBI and has made copy boxes that he bought from ebay and sells them to his direct family. **** him the low cunt go on UBI you do what you have to to stop these individuals trying to make money and have the balls to complain when the service goes down.<br />He has asked me If I want a box and I told him to **** himself and now we don't speak and he has threatened me and my family if i tell anyone.<br />Sorry Spanish people if this is happening but UBI is not a charity they have to do what they have to and again **** you the selling cunts mother sucking leaches. It's sad that the Turkish channels have been affected also as of late here in Melbourne with drop outs and pixels and sound cutouts on 90cm dishes every 5-7 seconds at times. YU4CFG<br />Debono is a Italian/Maltese and French name. As for Mario who cares because I bet you you will find a Mario that is Spanish just as much as you will find an Debono that is French but is this about Mario no!!! its about piracy against UBI and the trouble its causing them and how some are using aus-city for profit and gain. Hello peple, looks like the main topic got twisted at the end, basically my post was regarding to the bad signal on spanish transponder, now you people are talking about pirate boxes. Basically signal improves a lot on the last 8 hours or more and most of the poeple I know major problems only on those using a m100 box, with only 2 activated channels, I recommended to unplug it from power and plug power back after 10 minutes and box get updated, ofcourse this is a different problem , and in relation to a bad signal even my m360 box was crazy the other day.<br />I understand customers in this case from the spanish community were complaining in relation to bad signal and others with the message " channel not authorised" where they are legitimate subscribers to such channels.<br />Regarding to Piracy I believe strongly UBI will take soon soon action replacing boxes and changing to new encription but that is just a rumor that a friend back in sydney mentioned to me it will eventually happend I believe in the future. It is sad, yes sad to find people asking for dish realigments everyday and at the end basically I just found another modified box in their houses which been blocked, stupidity spending so much amount of money for nothing. Long stories about it and I still can not believe why they are spending money and loosing it so fast in short time.<br />cheers

Hey all I rang Phil tonight and he explained to me what people are doing wrong. Its simple if you turn your box off at the mains at the 240volts and you turn it back on the next day and the box fires up you might not get all the chanels and he explained the reason why so all you have to do is put he box in standby mode for 30 seconds press it to turn the box on again and it remaps and all your channels will re-appear. I asked about the other problem about pixelating and its just some teething problems and it will be sorted out.

The Spanish channel have been ok for the last day or so lets hope they stay that way otherwise my phone ring first from complaining customers and I tell them the same thing over and over Ring UBI not me I only installed your dish.
