I went to reply to a thread about this only to find Satfreak had closed it , Phil reopened it and Satfreak closed it again.<br /><br />Originally there was complaints over Phil closing posts. Phil then stated he would not be closing any more posts unless they were abuse.<br /><br />Satfreak now claims he has a mandate to close whatever he wants to. The fact that he is a company representative and has stated that he will close/edit/delete anything he wants is in my opinion ridiculous.<br /><br />I personally think NO company rep should have Moderation power. Why do you need Moderation power to post company information ?<br /><br />Its simple , you dont and it is a major conflict of interest. It can also be used a s a powerfull propaganda tool.

Looks like I am not the only one that feels this is wrong.<br /><br />I would have no problem with Satfreak or any rep from UBI having " TV+ Rep/UBI Rep " etc under their username or similar , it would be good if the company reps would stop hiding under aliases and declare who they are for the benefit of everyone.<br /><br />That way , any official company statement can be made by the reps and we wont have half the bullshit rumours that appear on here.<br /><br />Edit : spelling<br /> <br /> <small>[ 20. The question should be expanded, it's not just company reps with conflicts of interests, what about if your relative is a company rep, or your close friend, or you're trying to get a job there, or simply you're a fan of a company?

All I'm saying is that we shouldn't discriminate against any company rep because there're others in this forum who're equaly biased and who don't fit the rep profile. For ex-Yugoslavs imagine having a Partizan fan being a moderator in a Crvena Zvezda forum? Wouldn't work well would it, the blood would flow.
