Maybe they have decided to go with a different flavour of encryption and not Irdeto.

Yes I agree many people still value their ethnic channels and wanted to pay in order not to get blank screens...I would understand if as advertised by TV+ that encryption will take place in JAN. but its almost end of JAN and somehow I dont quite think it will be encrypted as of yet, unless things speed up this week. TV+ for sure has scared a lot of people by their msgs on BNTV, 2PINKs, and BKTV about locking their channels in January and being exclusvie to AUS and NZ region.

Mabey Tvplus have gone broke?

They don't charge people for FTA.<br />When I signed up, they deduct money from my credit card for installation fee and for the first month normal payment which they will start charging me only AFTER installation.<br /><br />There is the other story what worries me. <br />Why is taking them so long to start installations and encryptions.<br />I heard there are people who signed in October and still waiting. OK all<br /><br />Made some calls to see where things are at <br /><br />Set top boxes have been going out to customers<br /><br />All boxes and installs must go out for applications prior to Jan 20 then TV+ will encrypt<br /><br />I was advised that all orders to be completed within next 7 - 10 days. Then TV+ will be in a position to encrypt.<br /><br />Further I am advised that TV+ have had to wait on when the Russian channels are ready to encrypt (Horizon) once they are ready then its go go go.. <br /><br />Rgs<br /><br />Also BEDOUIN Stop making smart arse comments..<br />WE ALL KNOW YOU WORK AT UBI a couple desks down from LISKI... go and say Hello to Mr B tommrow for us all...

What is UBI doing Satfreak?

Ok since I have now been asked....<br /><br />Some unwise customers have been paying UBI $59 per month for Balkan channels since October 04...<br /><br />Yes poor user.. and only after seeing the ADDS broadcasted by PINK directly that TV+ is exclusive did the poor unwise user email PINK and TV+ to get the story straight..<br /><br />UBI told user 4 months earlier that UBI was exclusive for PINK.. only when the poor user saw the ADDS by PINK directly did they realise they had been jibbed..<br /><br />I have been hearing hundreds of customers have been paying UBI and they are now faxing their invoices to TV+.....<br /><br />must be for a "we have been screwed by UBI DISCOUNT"

All the installs i have done for UBI customers that want to watch the Balkans channels on B3 they were told to put there name down and enjoy them while there free to air but they did not part with there money.<br />Like i said its some of the installs to pas 8 that are the fishy ones.<br /> <br /> <small>[ 26.
