Hi all this is my first post on this forum and I hope I'm doing it the right way.<br />After reading for a while and by the look of it UBI will not be getting any Balkans channels, now we only have to choose TV Plus but from what I can see its way too expensive. I have copied this from another post from Phil de-bono and it does make sense.<br /> found on another post<br />Trust me it will be over $80 per months, it has to be, If you pay around $65 for the basic package you would expext to pay another $15 or more for the extras. So what Satfreak is saying is you will only be paying around $5 more for all the extra channels now if that was the case you would be paying $70 per month and that sounds steep allready. Now we know your not going to charge only $5 for the extra channels, it will be between $15 to $25 now where does that bring it to,,,,,(A) $65+15= $80 (B) $65 + $25= $90 thats a rip off.<br /><br /><br />Now I think this is being very realistic what Mr de-bono has said. I'm speaking on behalf of my father and relations and if this is true that we will have to pay over $70 per month for under 10 channels we will not be joining TV Plus. We will just have to put up not watching our channels or find other means of getting them.<br />My parents are illiterate but I'm certainly not thanks to good schooling here in Australia and now I'm studying Electrical Engineering.<br />Are others thinking the same as my family?, We never had Tarbs but my uncle had it to the end and it was value for the money.

Sorry Liski but Its good that you have repeated it for me again but will we get Pink? and I agree with YU4CFG, if UBI don't get pink then they are going to have to give a big sweetner for us.<br />As for the respresentive of TV plus satfreak on this forum I don't believe him when he is talking about the prices, I would not be surprised if we have to pay up to $100 for all the Balkans channels.<br />But as for now we are sitting on the fence as we don't know what to do. Can someone also tell me so my relatives that are reading what is the Minimium contract time you have with TV plus? because this worries us.<br /> <br /> <small>[ 22. They don't use the TARBS IRD but no idea why they should take it as it does not belong to PanAmSat or TV Plus

We know why TV+ is collecting Tarbs boxes...To kill the competition by punishing its customers with extra costs when contract due or cancelled...<br />But, I wonder, what the hell TV+ gonna do with those boxes? Any idea, where those boxes will be tipped?

YU4CFG, Its not free. You get $70 bucks discount for the lot. <br />In my opinion, only the dish was required for the discount as its gonna be used for the TV+ reception and save some installation cost...

Customers shouldn't give the TARBS box to TV+ in case they change their mind and want to join UBI. Saves them the cost of the buying another IRD.

You must be know Fsking how many people is ethic clean from Bosnia in war time, there is 95% refugees from Bosnian and Croatia.I know personally about 20 family which is waiting to arrive satellite TV from Bosnian and then they will subscribe.And one more think I have info there is more Bosnian subscribed to UBI and TV Plus than Serbian.

As you made very big comment for the impact on UBI's lost of bosnian customers, I just wantd to know what the actual numbers you were talking about. Where are those 95% refugees and the total population. My point is simple and clear! If you have big numbers, then you have the cards to play. You can take the game whicever side you like but as you mentioned 20-30 subs is nothing compare to the existings..You have made another strange comment about the serbs subscribed on UBI & TV+ less than Bosnians. Who bring Bosnian TV (TV Hayat or BHTV) will get my money. I know couple of families that will do with new install under the same condition.<br /><br />Yes my mother is missing TV Pink but ..... I do not see point in moving to TV+ just because of this channel.

Then, they will grab a part of Macedonia, Monte-negro and Greece.<br /><br />I wonder what they will call them selves then.
