We plan to have the Tv Chile signal up on PAS8 in the next couple of weeks. Our Spanish package will include TV Chile, Telefe and TV Espagna and will cost about $30 per month. Subscribers will need a new set top box, which we will be selling at about $200 each, but they can use their existing dish and cabling. Subscribers will be responsible for organising installation. We will be offering free set top boxes to the first 2000 subscribers

Tracesat
let i-view do there own advertising, but its good to
let people know whats going on as long as they don't get ripped off. I can't see these companies lasting, too many of them getting around.

Customers will need to sign a 12 month contract. There will also be longer terms available for those who wish to pay for their equipment over a period of time - perhaps 24 months.

You are welcome to provide me with a list of potential customers..

most likely to be on one of the former tarbs freq's such as these ones

12326 H 28066
12526 H 28066
12606 H 28066

these freq's below are already in use by TV Plus, WMI, Horizons TV so it may turn up on the channels that are playing the Panglobal Promos

12646 H 28066
12726 H 28066

so keep an eye on the freq's listed above as im pretty certain it will turn up on one of those freq's

we will be contacting customers by phone. we currently have a spanish speaking person to take calls at the moment, as the word has leaked out and we are receiving many calls. Once our full call centre is up and running, spanish speakers will call customers.

We are still working thru some tech details, but I anticipate the signal going up within a week. Not guaranteed though

Styled as a multi-language pay-TV service, the business has changed its name from i-view and registered Selectv as a business name and as an internet domain name.
The Australian understands Mr Blomfield, who was ousted from Foxtel in 2001, will release a prospectus in early June to raise up to $30 million, having already sourced some seed funding.

Source: http://finance.news.com.au/story/0,10166,12657003-462,00.html

Advertisement:
The Selectv service, which will offer between 35 and 40 non-English speaking channels, will launch in May, just before the prospectus is revealed.
