Try to pay attention
PAS8 KU = GLOBECAST / PANGLOBAL PLATFORM

GLOBECAST are not in the pay tv business, they run the platform.

TV PLUS is merely their customer who offer the channels.

same as HRT, VISIONASIA, DUNA TV , TV KOREA etc are provided by various Australian organizations via B3 on the GLOBECAST platform.

The Telstar 10 new Globecast platform is a CBAND distribution for hopping signals across from Europe /Asia to Eastern Australia in a single hop

Very likely the same use as what UBI are doing, that they will use it to bring the better quality signals over for the users of PANGLOBAL platform and Globecasts B3 platform.

I wonder how many customers TV plus have and I wonder how many have disconnected from them for whatever reason. I hate foxtel for the amount my friend pays TV PLUS I'm starting to think we might get foxtel.

Just called up TV+, and asked about installation.
They said between 4 and 6 weeks! WTF, all they need to do is send someone out with the STB! EASY! Take him less than half an hour to connect everything.

I know, you should have a choice. I guess some older people might want them to pop by and connect everything, but yeah, I wouldn't mind having a choice. Also it would be in TV+'s interest to get as many people connected ASAP. The more people connected sooner, the sooner the cash starts rolling in!

The local installer can put up a dish in 1 hr and connect the box in 10 minutes so why do you have to wait that long, sounds like shit to me

[ 05. July 2005, 02:25 PM: Message edited by: Meatball ]

http://web.archive.org/web/20040927194550/http://www.tvplus.tv/#

heres, an archived version of tvplus website back
last year in september, hardly anything has changed
on it since. BKTV is still not back, and BHTV remains FTA. They probably running out of money to
encrypt the channel. Signal quality is also still
the same on the pinks etc, and weve been given many promises it will improve and signs of more chans but hardly anything is progressing....
