Satfreak<br />It sounds like you work for tvplus<br />Are we going to get at least 8 channels for our basic package because we are not going to pay more.<br />tv plus like anything that's on globecast is expensive way out to expensive we must have all the channels for no more than $75 (around 12) otherwise your stuffed mate your not getting anymore of our money. we made a mistake to connect to early and we will disconnect and pay the penalty but at the end of the day you will lose

Yes, BHT is good TV (much better than Hayat but that's just my oppinion) Unfortunately, they do not broadcast 24/7 and all the sports are encoded on satellite ![[Frown]](images/icons/default/frown.gif)

BHTV-1 was just showing the english premier league match and now the picture is frozen this may be perhaps cause FOX SPORTS has the rights to the english premier league in our region so that means that the signal will most likely be cut everytime a english premier league match is on now on BHTV-1
as this is what happens when they show english matches on NTV Turkish channel on UBI

I thought someone here said that TV+ was going to use Globecast's new Telstar 10 Platform to bring these channels in? Instead of Thaicom 3, surely Globecast would give TV+ a better deal.

As far as I know OBN is having trouble uplinking it's signal and U.B.I. can't do much about it but OBN is working on it... I don't think even OBN technicians are sure how long until the problem is fixed but it shouldn't take much longer...

i was actually looking forward to bhtv, untill now.
we wont be able to watch anything of any worth. they have no satellite broadcasting rights to any foregin shows or any sports events, except some bosnian sports (seen bosnian basketball league, only).
so BHTV will show >>
-children shows
-political shows
-news
-local sport (maby not all??)
i just went through the whole weeks programming and those are the types of shows actually shown on satelite. maby i have missed something but that seems to be about 99% right

Nothing to do with dictatorship.<br /><br />Simple fact you pay $$$$$$$$$ for exclusive rights to certain sports events. Then you are entitled to protect them.<br /><br />A bit like when Tensports in Dubai paid big $$$$$$$ for exclusive rights to Indian market for the soccer world cup then found all the indian cable operators taking the signal of RCTI Indonesia which was fta!<br /><br />Tensports lost big $$$$ due to this and were sueing Kirch Media. They even wanted me to go over to the court case to be witness!
