I rang bigpond today and that told me my Exchange is up and running but ALL PORTS ARE TAKEN!!!<br />Shit!!! see all expression of interest were taken months ago and they go in first. Talk about being porked by Bigpond. A friend of mine applied to Swiftel and now Peoples Telecom and two weeks later they replied that they could not have the service the same F.ucking day he applies to Bigpond the application goes in a week later, they email him with the date to change over from ISDN to ADSL.<br />Now why can't Peoples Telecom get a connection and Bigpond can, something smells.<br />Tomorrow I will suss out a few more companies but I have two friends using AANET and for $42 I can get Static ip, 8 GB at 512/128, Mind you they have a 4 and 1 GB plan under $40.<br />Me_ashman can you email me as I have lost your email addres thanks to my Browser crash of two weeks ago.

time 4 a rest guys I can see Computers in my eyes!!.

My Tv fixed and it died again.<br />So in the last 1 week this has happen or better still blown up,,,,Oven/TV/Busted waterpipe/Fan in computer/Flat tyre/ Tv died AGAIN/ I think it time I call a priest to bless the house.<br />Yes not on net much, also I spent a lot of time chasing ADSL plans and me-ashm,an is right I will have to go with Bigpond otherwise i will be without the net for weeks as other companies cannot tell me if all ports are taken at the exchange, they tell me it enabled but thats it.<br />See if i disconnect from ISDN and go with another company 2 weeks later the company tells me SORRY no ports available WHAT AM I GOING TO DO??? But if you go with Bigpond they do not disconnect ISDN until ports are Available and you get it the same or next day.<br />The Blackmail is ,,,,, Other companies CANNOT accept the application from me UNTIL I first Disconnect from ISDN, and if I do and can't get ports at the Exchange I'm Fu,,,cked I might have to wait until more ports are added ,,,up to 3 months,,,Its a Catch 22

Too expensive Chief<br /><br />My big TV up and running again, all it was: a simple choke next to the 15V + and - socket, when plugging the socket in I pushed the choke which cracked the track behind and open circuited the -15v to the fuse.<br />Because half the supply was missing it went into protection mode ( no Video and audio.<br />One Piss fart crack in a track stopped a big TV from working.<br /><br />On another note if you have any rear projection Tv <br />you must clean the mirror and the heads of the three tubes inside, The contrast is 100% better. I last cleaned it 18 months ago, My opinion if you want sharp clear pictures do it every 12 months<br />Phil is happy now
