Well after buying a year ago Pearl Habour for $42 I decided to watch it again, guess what?, it was stuffed.
So what do I do now, Back everything up, Yes I bought the best DVD burner Pioneer 107D and when you buy this burner don't forget to go to the Pioneer Australia site and download the latest flash for the 107D, It improves it.
Now for software??, What to use. I have tried a few and I can tell you that the best combo is DVD SHRINK and Nero.
I have tried DVD Decrypter with Clone DVD2, I have used DVDXCopy, Used DVDXCopy Xpress, DVD XCopy Platinum, but I am convinced that DVD Shrink with Nero is the easiest and the best to use. It allows to Re-Author or do a Full version. You can remove whatever you want. As a blank DVD disc is only a 4.7G and the movie has to be compressed to fit on it and the original has two layers and is around 6 to 8 gig.
For your covers and Disc labels there are heaps of sites the one I use mostly is cdcovers http://www.cdcovers.cc/
or DVD Da Progger http://daprogger.mine.nu/
but if you want shrink go to http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm
And when it comes to printing the covers use the cheapest Glossy paper or even cheaper Matte paper, its perfect and go and spend some money on a new printer that does CD/DVD labels,,,I love the disc disappearing in and out of the printer, what a 100% perfect job it does. I use a Cannon i865, what a ripper. After doing the outside and inside covers using the Glossy paper+the disc the copies are better looking than the Original.
Phil

I also use DVD Shrink and Nero Phil , it seems to be a good combination. I might have to look at getting one of those Cannon printers though

Austech
If you need help with the Canon i865 thats no problems, that can be arranged.
The only thing tricky with it is the Labels on the disc, the Cases are only a minor problem with slightly different sizes (different Res)you pull down from the CD covers site.
BUT the DVD disc label thats different, they're a pain in the arse until you learn the tricks, Shit I did 7 over the weekend and all seven when checking the preview had a different outside rim size that needed adjusting and its not simple for the first or second time. If you adjust it wrongly it comes out like an "EGG".
I stuffed 3 discs before I mastered it, what happens mostly is say the top and bottom are on the edge of the disc but both sides are 5 mm short or the other way around, the top and bottom are 5 mm in and the sides are on the edge. It not a matter of adjusting the outer rim and it grows to the size of the disc, thats too simple. Too hard to explain over the net and instructions tell you nothing. For me, using Corel to do the box labels at 150dpi, printing on semi or matte paper makes them better than new, and for the dvd disc you will get a shock how good they come out.
Only trick is be careful what you download, your label is only as good as the label you download, if not happy go to another site to get a better quality label, mainly not fuzzy or poor resolution.
Phil
But a phone call will fix that.

I only use Ritek A Grade white tops (inkjet printable)no coasters yet, the Canon i865 does a perfect job printing on them.
Phil
