Media accreditation is open for the launch of NASA's next commercial cargo resupply flight to the International Space Station. SpaceX and NASA soon will set an April target date for launch of the company’s Dragon spacecraft on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in Florida.

This will be the company's sixth commercial resupply mission under NASA contract to the space station. The flight will deliver several tons of supplies, including new science experiments and technology research.

Media prelaunch and launch activities will take place at CCAFS and nearby at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. International media without U.S. citizenship must apply for credentials by 4:30 p.m. EDT Monday, March 9 to access CCAFS for the launch. Accreditation is open until 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 30 for international media without U.S. citizenship who do not need access to CCAFS. The deadline for U.S. media is 4:30 p.m. April 3.
All media accreditation requests must be submitted online at:

https://media.ksc.nasa.gov

International journalists must submit a scanned copy of their "I" visa and passport. Green card holders must submit a scanned copy of their card. These scanned documents must be sent to Jennifer Horner at jennifer.p.horner@nasa.gov by the specific deadlines for credential request processing.

All media representatives must present two forms of legal, government identification to access Kennedy Space Center. One form must be a photo ID, such as a passport or driver's license.
