Hello all,
To thoses who know me (yes, it's been a while), I'm still alive!
I've already lined the dish up using the Ku-Band signals that we can get here using just a Ku-Band LNB and now I'm ready to install the new feedhorn to try and get the C-band
Now for my question.
My hope is to get NASA TV. I have a Chapparel Co-Rotor (supports both C-band and Ku-Band with polarity selection though the use of a servo) which has the telfon dielectric installed in the feedhorn.
Is there any preference for which way the dielectric lines up? i.e. in line with the pole axis, across the polar axis, two fingers clockwise of the polar axis or just simply, use a level meter and work out what's best.
Many thanks in advance, COl.
