2012 has been designated (as foretold in the Mayan prophecies)the year of change and upheaval for the Earth.

Hopefully, most of us are aware of the 2012 scenario and what it may mean for humanity in general.( and I am not talking about the Olympic games!!)
There are supposedly major changes taking place right now in the Earth and within ourselves, which will determine our progress.
Here is a list of some possible changes that may take place.


* Migraine headaches, tiredness
* Electrical sensations in the limbs and spinal column
* Cramps in the muscular networks
* Flu like symptoms
* Intense dreams.
* The human body will become more sensitive as a result of the new vibrations.
* The resonance of Earth (Schumann Resonance) has been 7.8Hz for thousands of years. Since 1980 it has risen to over 12Hz.
This means that 16 hours now equate to a 24 hour day. Time is speeding up!
* The physical body has already begun to change. A new light body is being created.
* Our DNA is being re-programmed from the Universe (as predicted in the Mayan Prophecy).
We are going from 2 strand back to 12 strand DNA.
* Greater intuitive and healing abilities will emerge.
* Eyes will become cat like in order to adjust to the new atmosphere and light.
* All newly born children will probably be telepathic at birth.
* All plagues of the 90's, including AIDS will be gone.

I have given some considerable thought to 2012, though I remain open to any possibilities of what it will bring. I do find the number 2012 popping up sometimes for me personally (one little synchronicity is that my son was born at 20:12).

I do think there is a significance for 2012 and that it will bring something, but I also notice that everytime we are expecting some huge occurrence (milenium bug ), it doesn't happen.

I have definitely had the electric feeling in my limbs. I feel the vibration in my fingers and toes and along my spine. I thought it was a slow kundalini awakening, and maybe it is all tied together. This is coupled with lots of intermittent flu like symptoms. I always think I have a cold, but it doesn't develop.

There is no doubt my intuitive abilities are on the incline and my dreams have always been intense and continue to be. My son has always had a telepathic-like connection with me (that is a whole topic in itself). I also am noticing pronounced almond-shaped eyes in some children (hard to explain why I think this is connected, but if this resonates with anyone, let me know).

For all those people who have been experiencing the 11:11 for the past years and wondered why you just happen to look at the clock at that particular time, repeatedly. According to the US naval observatory, the 2012 winter solstice will occur at 11:11 universal time.

Wow, that really adds further dimension to my thoughts on 2012 (thanks). Frequently having my eyes "pulled" to the clock at 11:11 has been an on-going phenomenon for me for 15 years now.

Everything comes together in the fullness of time Alisa. 11:11 has been ongoing for awhile now. If this is the real reason why we look at the clock at that time. I find it wonderful, even awe inspiring the way everything is synchronised. :tup:

Great links, Chris! :tsup: I found the film website of The Shift of the Ages very interesting. I have not done much research on the Mayans, only learning about it in bits and pieces as it crops up in my personal spiritual quest, so this helped fill in a few gaps.

Apocalyptic scenarios scare me, but I find it eases my mind that I believe we are eternal (our souls) and can never truly "die". And because I have firm belief in reincarnation, I am fine to come back to a better place in a better body if that is the "go".

P.S. I am experiencing synchronicity since 02 October is my son's birthday, and he was born at 20:12, AND because within the above dream I also dreamed I went to my uncle's house overseas, who sychronistically sent me a letter I just received that was dated 02 October (so I dreamed I visited him at the very time he was composing the letter to me given the time difference).

Wow, what a poem. I must say I really like the last stanza, particularly "Live out your dreams that's why you came".

I wonder if most people know why they came :question:

I suppose it's rather speculative. And there are quite diverse belief systems amongst us all.

I for one rejected the religion I was brought up on (Mormonism), and in doing so, felt that meant there was no God or spirit world. Funny how it can seem so either/or until you learn to think differently.

Thankfully at some point it occurred to me that there could still be a spirit world without my having to fit it within the definition of any specific religion. Whew.

Having found and interacted with spirits through photography and clairaudience, I have been able to see many of the links to various religions and belief systems. It seems to me that there is some truth in all beliefs. For me, instead of finding religion to validate spirituality, I have found spirituality to validate religion.

Well if anything is going to happen I would be putting my odds on the Earth getting hit by a large meteorite as far as any scientific 'odds' of what could cause such a catastrophy.

There has been a few near misses one a few years ago.

I recently watched a documentary on the History Channel called "Decoding The Past: Mayan Doomsday Prophecy".

The depiction of the Mayan calendar as a 3-piece clockwork was interesting and helped me understand it better. The interpretations of the hieroglyphics from the various interpreters was interesting, but very subjective.

The program indicated that according to the Dresden Codex (one of four surviving Mayan documents procured by a Dresden, Germany library) there is a panel that is interpreted to mean that the outcome of the end of this cosmic cycle (on 21 Dec 2012) will be a flood. The documentary presented a page from the Codex with figures representing a serpent with water coming from it's mouth and a Goddess pouring a bucket of water down upon the king of the underworld. Under the serpent's belly are symbols representing the moon and the sun with water coming from them as well. (This has something to do with an eclipse of the sun and moon preceding the flood).





But I thought that the final event according to the Mayans was to be a fire.

This prompted me to search. I found an excellent paper called "The Maya Flood Myth and the Decapitation of the Cosmic Caiman" by Erik Velasquez Garcia. The paper gives several references of interpretations of flooding as fire:

I read the first post, and found it interesting, though I found this one funny:



I think all humans and animals are telepathic, we just don't know how to manually use them. Many people, if left together for even a short period of time, will begin to syncronize. First its footsteps and such, but after a longer period, they can even start to think similarly. I think this is because a part of the brain deals in telepathic signals, in which we find extreamly dificult to manually use.

Just like wiggling our ears, the muscles are there. We just cant use them easily yet.

Though, the rest of the facts are very interesting, though, change is always happening. Climates are always fluctuating, evolution is always happening, no matter how long it takes.

Personally, I'm not suprised the human body is trying to change rappidly. For hundreds of years, we've stuffed it with steroids, drugs, alcahol, medicines, everything you could think of. This all would most probably have an effect on the body's chemical balance, and thus the genes ect. would try and adapt. Once they've managed, they'd be passed on, in which the sycle would happen again.

On July 31st, 2006, An amazing thing happened on the sun. A reverse polarity sun spot, which is indicative of the next solar max cycle, number twenty four. That cycle is where the sun goes into its maximum emissions activity. The peak of the increased suns activity will occur in 2012.

This also corresponds to the Maya 'end of the world' prophesy.

The Mayan calendar, or so I've heard, is three gears.
The hieroglyphs on the larger wheel mark the three hundred and sixty five days of the solar year. Those on the two smaller gears mark the two hundred and sixty two days of the priests sacred calendar. Using this calendar, Maya priests predicted the exact time and place of solar eclipses. And, Just to add (Mainly for Alisa's knowlage) that I came over the infomation in a video in youtube. I had no intention of finding it, but heard the lyrics of a song called 'signs' in my head. Not knowing/remembering who it was by, I simply put in 'signs' into youtube. And as I scrolled down, it came up with the video! Intregued, I clicked on it, and the rest stands before you in text and type.

Seriously, this is just an amazing example of how I find out so much "stuff" myself. 99% of the time when I hear a song in my head it is a clue to something I need to find or look at, or answers to questions. It may sound strange to some, but it is one of my most valuable "finds" about my reality - that many of the answers trying to surface for me use song lyrics as a favourite route.

I theorized long ago that my eternal memory exists in my soul, which is largely outside of my body. The information I have gained to put in my memory from this life time has entered into and through my physical brain through one of my physical sensory organs (eyes, ears, touch, etc.). This creates a hard pathway as the information is deposited in my soul-memory. To remember things that have happened in this life time, I can physically trace the route(s) through my brain. This is what it feels like to "remember".

When information is retrieved about a past life, or about things that have happened to others (psychic/ESP), the information is in the soul memory, but has not before been run through the physical brain (neurons). No hard path. So when it is retrieved, it feels quite different to retrieving memory that has come in on a hard path. It feels similar to imagination, but it can flow into the brain from the soul without any "grasping". It just "downloads" and feels a bit, as I said, like imagining.

So I further theorize, that when my soul wants me to know something that has not yet passed through my brain and made a hard-path for retrieval, it has to use download. One of the best ways to get me to click "OK" in my brain to download, is to trigger me to understand I need the info by playing a song over and over. Usually I cotton on and realize, "Hey, that song has been playing in my mind all day, what is it I need to know". At that point I am pressing "OK" and looking for where the information is stored outside of my brain.

An example of this was when I heard the word "Chaldean". It was a word I had only heard once before in this lifetime, as the name of a movie character. But my soul wanted me to look into and learn about ancient Babylonia (which I also knew nothing about) and so it fed me this word over and over by playing it from the line in the movie. Tis a long story, but let me leave it at that for now (or read about it on my Babylonia page ).

But I will say, this has happened numerous times to me, where lines from movies (hard-path memory) will be played over and over to get my attention and give me a word I must research when there is no other way to get the word to me, since I've never heard of it before, such as Chaldean and other ancient or spiritual terms.
