For those familiar with Mulligan, the spirit I seemed to get in quite a few of my earlier spirit photos (Spirit Gallery 1), I thought he was no longer "around", and he seemed to stop appearing in my photos after my suggestion that he might be happier moving on (just a suggestion). I liked him very much and felt he was full of goodwill. He gave me excellent images of him in photos and I received several clairaudient phrases from him indicating the era in which he lived here and his name, etc. However, a month ago I captured this image of a bearded spirit man on my property. On closer inspection I see he shares characteristics with Mulligan: beard, hat, long, thin nose, and flowers appearing around him on his hat and forehead. This is probably not a coincidence. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/human/bearded_man2546_1.jpg) The first photo is the original crop from a larger photo. In the second I have inverted the colours through local equalization. In the third I have coloured in some of the flowers and I've sculpted away the area on the left to help clarify the definitive part of his face. As so often happens, one side of the image is stronger and clearer than the other. Also of great and haunting interest to me is the fact that he is holding something over his face on the right hand side of the photo. It is the same in the following images of Mulligan where he is holding something (also with flowers on his hat ). ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/spirit_mulligan3.jpg) ---- ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/spirit_mulligan4.jpg) My thoughts are a rose, a gun (hope not,) or a dog. What do you think Chris and Dawn?

If you have an idea of what it is, then yes, Briarne, share.

I wish I had your eye for these sightings. Very good!
I think he kind of look likes he's itching his face, maybe?
I doubt it'd be a gun... according to everything I've read alot of spirits don't like iron or metal at all (especially the wee folks and faeries)
Interesting, very interesting!

Once again, thank you for your helpful comments and opinions. It is weird because a few times I have looked at these particular photos that have this "hole" looking thing that often appears to be the center of a flower, but sometimes instantly looks like I am staring down the barrel of a gun (as if I ever have ). But it has actually made me feel a shock for a minute. And yet, I have developed a deep belief in all things good, and I did really get warm feelings regarding this character (Mulligan) and all of the spirits (though some do indeed look spooky). Really. Still, I know to not judge a book by its cover, and I have never been harmed or harrassed or had any negative feeling other than the unnerving strangeness of the unknown that disappears after it becomes known.

If it is 'Mulligan' again, he obviously likes your place.
Did you take the photo on the same fence again?

You know what? Yes, I did. Good point. Do you have any idea what the flowers might mean. Do you "see" the flowers as such?

This is another of your night shot photos is it? Not the easiest of mediums to look at, I have to say. I don't really have an interpretation for you. Flowers to me are something positive, a gift, or something like that.
