People have believed for thousands of years that it is possible to predict the future. The oracle in the The Temple of Apollo in Delphi,ancient Greece,is a very good example. Only the wealthy could afford to pay for the services of the oracle and many questions of state were decided by what the Delphic oracle foretold. We are told that many famous people consult with psychics before they do anything of any importance, that included heads of state and royalty. But, can anyone really predict the future? Many would say yes! premonition dreams appear to be quite common. Do we all possess the gift of ESP, and just need to sharpen it up? Research into this phenomena continues and even in space - as the Americans did in 1960 on the apt named Apollo 14 space mission by astronaut Edgar D Mitchell. A new year is looming, and the wave of predictions will be coming in thick and fast. Can anyone predict the future? Do you believe anyone can do this? What is 2007 going to be bringing us

It would be quite interesting to know how the predictions for 2006, made by noted psychics, turned out.  I wonder if there have been any significant predictions throughout the years that turned out to be accurate.
