Here is some good news regarding Lig TV. No need for sarcastic remarks and before anyone mentions the Lig TV uptake has been extremely good but this is a nice gesture from UBI management. Any Turkish subscriber who lost Lig TV within their 6 month contract term would’ve had their Lig TV restored last night. Any Turkish subscriber who added on Lig TV during their 6 month contract term will be given 1 month free of Lig TV due to paying for Lig TV in April. The letter below is a sample of what will be sent to our Turkish subscribers within the next few days. Due to an oversight we inadvertently removed Lig TV from your service prior to the completion of your minimum contract term.
We sincerely apologise, and have moved swiftly to resolve the issue. Within the next few days we will have restored your access to Lig TV.
- FOR CUSTOMERS WHO DIDN’T ADD LIG TV We are giving you an extra month’s free viewing of Lig TV once your contract term expires to make up for the month of April.
Your may have heard that effective April 2007 Lig TV is now an add-on channel for an additional subscription fee. Should you wish to continue to watch Lig TV after your term expires, you will need to call UBI WORLD TV on 1300 400 800 to subscribe to the channel for an additional $9.95 per month* If we don’t hear from you before the end of your contract term, Lig TV will automatically be removed from you service.
- FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ADDED LIG TV Our records indicate you subscribed to Lig TV during April and paid an additional $9.95 for the channel. We will not be charging you for Lig TV for the rest of your minimum contract term, and to compensate you for your payment for April we will be giving you an extra 1 months free viewing of Lig TV once your contract term expires. You will therefore be able to enjoy Lig TV for free until the end of your contract + one month of Lig TV.
Should you wish to continue to watch Lig TV after your contract, you will need to call UBI WORLD TV on 1300 400 800 to subscribe to the channel for an additional $9.95 per month* If we don’t hear from you before the end of your contract term, Lig TV will automatically be removed from you service.
Once again we apologise for this oversight, and hope you enjoy the best of the Turkish Super League and our 10 other premium Turkish television channels.
* Terms and conditions apply. For further details contact us on 1300 400 800.

Some spanish customers had disconnected their service because of the executive decision taken by U.B.I to sell Lig Tv as a package by itself.Bad move,I hope U.B.I management re consider that decision,Most of your customers love Football(soccer)and that was the only good channel able to provide that specific service to the wide variety of your loyal customers.
