Have you ever heard of a 'spirit larvae'?
I hadn't until last evening.
I read that some folks think orbs are 'spirit larvae'. And that was all that it said and explained nothing further about 'spirit larvae'. They listed other orb theories like the theory that orbs are alien probes used to spy on us.

I won't address the alien spy-ball theory... I think it's kind of like comparing the intentions of a bird to the controllable capabilities of a satellite. IMO...

I want to know more about the 'spirit larvae' theory. I tried a Google search and found nothing to explain 'spirit larvae' at all...
There was a mention on one thread on some web site about the possibility that a person's aura can be infected by a 'spirit larvae', but there again, they didn't explain anything more about it.

Okay, well, so I've been pondering and I think that by them using the term 'larvae' they are inferring that (orbs) 'spirit larvae' will eventually metamorphisize into something else...

I wonder what it would grow to be. shrug

Any thoughts?

I find the idea of orbs to be spirit larvae an intriguing point of view (so thanks for sharing, Dawn). scratchchin

My twocents . . .

Orbs are an enigma to me overall. One of my best spirit captures was the clear image of Mulligan in the center of a large orb, or circle of spirit material. But even at the time, I felt that something else was facilitating the appearance of Mulligan inside the orb material. Meaning, that I think it is likely the orb itself was not Mulligan.

Orbs have smiled, and appeared in greater numbers and brighter when requested, so I feel sure they are conscious with good will. I have seen orb with faces of all sorts inside. However, I have come to realize that nature mimics us. From reading Hodson I see that gnomes, etc., would mimic him sometimes while he was observing them, creating shoes on their own feet to match his sometimes, or materializing a picnic basket like his. So orbs may be nature spirits reflecting to us what they see around them.
shrug

My latest theory is that orbs are to spirit as cells or clusters of cells are to a physical body. They are alive, contributing, independently conscious sub-entities of a larger spirit. So there can be human orbs, animal orbs, tree orbs, etc. Perhaps orbs also exist entirely independently, hence being somewhat larvae-ish, or rather, existing as a smaller entity group of one or more.

I remain open to learning more about orbs. I couldn't possibly conclude exactly what they are at this stage with such a complex issue and so many factors to consider. I just keep thinking about them and looking at them, theorizing, marveling. magnify

As a side note, since I have not been reaching out to orbs recently (over the last 6 months probably), they only make rare appearances in my photos, unlike before when I was fascinated with them and could rarely get a photo without them. So I am sure that intent (for me anyway) is connected to how much I experience of orbs and other spirits.

I like your thoughts Alisa.
The possibilities are endless because of the photo evidence and because of the folks that have encounters with them. Such as your self. I feel only a sentient intelligence could respond to a question as your smilee orb did. I think it was a 'happy hello, you are not alone' message

I remembered another orb theory...

orbs are the fae or elementals.
On this theory I agree that it is a big possibility in a big part of the photos or sightings.

You are always so generous toward my ideas and others', Dawn. I thank you, deeply! allhail

I also was forced to smile about your comment that the smilee orb was giving a "happy hello, you are not alone" message! cheerful I have always had a good experience with orbs in photos. They aren't doing scary things and do sometimes smile.

I agree totally that a big possibility is that many of the orbs are fae or elementals. Absolutely. yes

chuckle It might be that the fae and wee folk are behind everything. Who knows? Maybe they take it as a compliment that you'd say so.
