I was talking to a friend a few weeks ago, when she told me about her theory about 'spiritual twins'. She said that everyone is born with a spiritual twin thats always with us, offering help ect. where they can, though some people are born with their spiritual twin as a true, human twin.

I remembered this theory a few days ago, and the little voice in the back of my head (spirit guid me thinks) whispered to me, as it always does at these times, what about split personalities? what if some some of their spiritual twins are sort of, corrupt? or are born inside of their human twin?

I kinda like the idea. In my own belief system, I feel I am made up of many personalities. I believe in reincarnation so I believe that my soul is full of identities that have lived before and bring to my whole spirit lots of knowledge and experience that they chime in with from time to time (I have heard them, different genders, accents, etc.). I rarely get a negative comment, but I know that people can have parts of themselves that pipe up with cynicism and fear.

And I have definitely thought that the phenomenon of hearing voices, like often happens with schizophrenia, is the person hearing these separate identities within themselves. But of course, I have been experiencing clairaudience, which I actually enjoy. I receive amazing information this way from what I believe are my identities and guides, and I have on occasion briefly communicated with people that have died (or so I believe).

The whole idea of twins is utterly intriguing. I can totally jibe with the idea of one spirit being born in twin bodies. Thinking about it all though is rather !

Arnt we all made of others? we all have our perents genes, who had theirs, who had theirs, and so on until we come to the first human, in which was a evelution from somthing else, so physycially, as well as spiritually, we are not just one person. I agree.

From what you've said so far, I'm thinking you might be on to something here... maybe it's like 'Spiritual DNA'

This topic is getting curiouser and curiouser. "Spiritual DNA"! I have had several dream-like experiences where I meet with other people and our spirits touch and then overlap. And sometimes afterward I have this knowledge that we have somehow shared DNA. I felt the experiences were significant, though strange, and I didn't know how to explain to myself how this non-physical experience had to do with DNA. Maybe spiritual DNA!?

I agree that, We all are connected, but it's seems beyond our human brains to cypher the way it could possibly work.
So I reach for possibilities like my incomplete thought about DNA.

It just occurred to me that in quantum physics they make mention of the 'string theory'.
I could be wrong on this...but...As best as I understand it the universe is made up of dimensions that are like strings that fluctuate and wave around each other.

DNA is usually presented as being in strand type structures.

So, it stands to reason that there could be a strand type structure to the spirit dimension that fluxes with our DNA and the universal DNA...

That's as far as my thought got...

Spiritual Dna? I could put my belief into that. and I am infact, a beleiver in the string pheory. I like the idea that 'gravitons' (the strings that make up gravity) can pass through other dimensions, so many spirits are made of the same patturn?

Dawn, your thought is quite interesting about the fluxing strands of reality and the similarity between the spiraling strand model of DNA. Once while meditating, I asked in my mind to see "The Lord" (not being religious, but fully believing). I saw some strings appear and they began to twist and move until they formed a moving spiral together which I realized was shaped like the simple double helix pattern. I then saw an eye that projected so much power and love that tears rolled down my cheeks.

Also, another thought sparked in me when I read Jim's question, "So many spirits are made of the same pattern?" I might be interpreting your question wrong, Jim, but I have had dreams (I use the term as a catch-all for different levels of consciousness in the night) where I learned that there are a certain amount of "types" of spirit "cut from the same cloth". So when you resonate strongly with a certain person, you may be the same "type" of spirit. And yet, this is still too simple an analogy. This idea of similar fabric, though, also ties in with the "dream" where I shared spirit DNA with a person I know. It was as if we became even more similar in spirit/cloth by sharing a few threads. And in waking life afterward, when I would see this person, I felt a change in our interaction. I felt more harmonious with them.

That's really something. It's certainly an intriguing and enlightening confirmation to our pondering about spiritual DNA.

You 'both' are ahead of me on the 'spirit patterns'.
I've never really considered it other than I mostly only thought that spirits are made of etheric matter that varies depending on their agenda...
