This myriad of nature folk is from a bushwalk photo:

In the final photo I have faintly outlined two little monkey-like hooded beings in the red rectangle, and circled some little dot-eyed gnomes. There also appears to be another creature in the space between the circles and the rectangle, leaning against the tree. It looks to me like it has long rabbit/mouse ears and breast(s) showing (does anyone else see this?). It does look a bit disjointed, though this does happen with the wee folk photos. Like this early wee folk photo below where this female's head is unrealistically far above her shoulders.

I thought that maybe there was another copy of her or her limbs to the left, but looking at it again these days, I wonder if it isn't another wee folk/mannikin holding on to her or just standing behind her.

shrug
These beings seem to come in such varying sizes and types, but the dot-eyed gnome-types seem to be quite prevalent. What do you think?

I am always happy to provide more views or originals, etc., if you want to look closer without my interpretation. Don't hesitate to ask. coolpeace And as always, PLEASE chime in with your opinion and thoughts, same and different, or anything else you see. helpme

Oh those nature folks... ~shakes head~
They have such a curious logic...

I think that some see the basic human shape and that is as far as they give thought to it.
It's kind of like some of them think, humans have a head, I have a head, humans have a body, I have a body... They don't seem to worry with basics like prospective or proportion... Their logic seems to be almost kind of like a young child and artwork...

I see all the nature folks you mention, but you know, to me, the bunny in the first picture kinda of favors a child... so perhaps it distorts it when you enlarge it.
mmm... maybe...

I like this picture very much. It's quite busy...
Cool!

Thanks, Dawn, I sooo appreciate your feedback! cloud I think you have a good point that nature spirits have a different kind of logic where proportion and perspective don't necessarily correspond with ours. yes

It is true that when you look at the photo from afar as opposed to up-close/enlarged, it does change things. Though I have seen some large images that take up much of a whole photo, most of the images I see are smaller and I have to hone in on them to get a better look. In fact, for me personally, one of the criteria I use for considering a spirit legitimate for highlighting is whether or not it becomes clearer as I enlarge it. If I start to lose the image upon enlarging, then I generally leave it.

This was not one of my favourite or strongest photos, but it was interesting enough, I thought. And lately I post photos as I find them and feel "moved" to, whereas I used to be a bit more methodical and keep a file of them. I'm more spontaneous now which is more fun and I seem to encounter more synchronicities, too.

For fun, I highlighted the bunny-lady-being, dotting her eyes, drawing a mouth, outlining with shadow, etc., to show how I see her (though I know that it is quite subjective winking).

Oh, cool I love the outlining of the bunny...
It still looks like a child to me... two children, one above the other (or sharing the same space as is one of the curious abilities of the wee beings.)

Thank you for explaining the care that you in cyphering your photos. It's important to establish that there are certain basic criteria that needs to be followed. It gives credibility and intelligence to this unexplored area of photography...

You would think the 'paranormal societies' would spend some time with this area of spirit photography...
mmm,
There are over 3000 names of different types of 'mystical beings' wee and large. Virtually every culture and contininent of the world has legends and lores of the mysterious encounters...

With all the millions of cameras & video rec. out there, why does the mass majority of folks dismiss even the possibility that a nature folk or fae could show up in a picture just like with ghost, ufos, orbs, and other wonders...

I do not understand what the problem is with the ps not giving some acknowledgement to it.

Thanks for the continually stimulating conversation, Dawn. It's such a pleasure. content

So many things I don't think about until someone else brings them up. doh

I actually see far more entities in photos than I ever highlight and share. I choose the ones that I think would be most relevant, or that others would most easily "see". Some amazing sights are just too hard to outline or too subjective, but they add to my personal insight so my subjective view of the other realm is rather detailed.

I think that paranormal societies will someday spend more time on spirit photography again. The early days of photography brought out lots of strange hoaxed things that tainted the area for a while. Once people get something in their mind it tends to stick (beliefs such as all clear spirit, fairy, bigfoot, and UFO photos are faked). I was the same with fairy photos until I captured one myself. But another thing is, people also have further subconscious boundaries once they even accept that a fairy exists and can be photographed. Then they expect that it must look like their concept of a fairy. And they probably have rules in their mind as to whether it would be opaque or transparent, and its gender, etc. I have even had a few people seem incredulous that fairies would be here in Australia--perhaps they thought fairies only exist in Europe. I had never thought about the geography of it myself. But it illuminates how many firm mental restrictions and rules we unconsciously harbour and apply! I am absolutely no exception and even denied some of my own captures early on. I still must stretch my mind daily. yes

I do think that to continue to discuss spirit photography openly, honestly and with goodwill, and sharing our photos, will continue to open minds to this wonder.

I add my thoughts to what has already being written here.

I am enjoying your 'bush walk' photos Alisa, so much to see in them.

From my perspective spirit is everywhere, so every leaf, flower, twig has a an image or a face associated with it.
We have already discussed the 'layering' effect of interdimensionality that occurs in all elements, so getting a clear cut photo is not an easy task.
The more a person looks at such photos, the more they open up and allow the images to flow into their 'space' much more readily, the more they will see and resonate with.

I have visited quite a few different countries and can attest to finding nature spirits teaming everywhere. Not only in the forests and woods, but everywhere you can think of.

The only way that most people believe in something, is if they see it/experience it for themselves(the best), or view photographs of the phenomena( which we bring to your attention) and bring with 'honesty and goodwill' as Alisa has stated.

A validating point for me, is when someone looks at my photos and without being told, identifies what I am also seeing in the photo, that is most satisfying.

Another example for you would be a previous skeptic,(who could/would not see anything in my photos), calling me to 'come and look at these strange clouds', and when I get outside and we compare notes, we are seeing the same 'strange' things.

An open mind certainly helps.
