Last night, I'd been in my brothers room watching a movie, and when I came into my room, or more of opened the door to my room,twas pitch black inside, accept for two red dots (which where in the right place to be pupils/eyes) in the middle of the room. they where some what higher then me, and around/under them, it looked like it had a straight pilar of a body, just visible, like the darkness got thicker in that area. and when I turned on the light, I could see them no more.
what was strange, was it gave off a kind of feel to it. o.O

What kind of feeling did the cylindrical red-eyed entity give off?

Coincidentally, I have seen a few strange things the last few nights in the haunting aura of my TV's LED lights.

It was like a cold, numb, full feeling, like it was everywhere, without it being cold.

So would you say it negative, the cold, numb feeling? And have you seen anything since?

Last night, I saw the outline of a face, about the size of my three-seater sofa in the livingroom as I came down at night. It seemed to be grinning, and was made up of a sort of, suspended lighter-shadow then the darkness around it.

Wow, as big as your sofa! That's pretty big for a head. You are having quite a bit of activity, or I should say, perception. I still think that the darkness, because it activates our peripheral vision (rod receptors), makes it more likely to see "things".

For me it is getting to the point that if I want to experience seeing what is there in spirit when I wake during the night in a highly relaxed state, I need only open my eyes. If I don't want to see, and sometimes I really don't, then I just don't open my eyes. It's not that I think for a moment that anything can hurt me. It is just that so much unfamiliarity for my consciousness can be overwhelming, which translates sometimes to fright. I mean, one time I woke and opened my eyes knowing I was laying in bed, but seeing that I was somewhere else. Somewhere made up of material and colours that are translatable, but not the same as the physical. Though in some way I knew I had been there before (maybe I am always there as well as here, who knows), it was so foreign to my conscious mind that it frightened me intensely and I let out a little scream that brought me out of it.

So was it smiling at you like, "Hi" or like "yum"

It looked more like an evil grin actually. and you could be right with the darkness thing. I think, personally, that spirits have the same structure as light does, and thus the two mesh and make a sort of 'blue paper infront of a blue wall' effect.

Cool thought...spirits having the same structure as light.

As I understand it OMJ, you have now had two sightings of this "thing" in your house, once in your bedroom and once in your living room. You have said it gives off a negative vibe which you felt.

I have some to ask of you if I may -
How is this 'thing' making you feel?
How do you feel about it appearing in your living space?
Why would this 'thing' be appearing to you now?
Has anyone else in your house seen or sensed it's presence?
Have you any idea what this is?

This thing is making me feel both intrguied but careful, though only on a small scale. Seeing it in my living space made me feel wary, and I have no idea why it'd be apearing to me now. No one else has seen or felt it to my knowlage, and the most I know is that its a spirit on some level.

Have you witnessed such visual phenomena before?
Is there anything you could be doing to attract this thing into your space? Focusing your intent on a subject will certainly help to magnetise and bring it closer to you( whether you are using intentionality or unintentionality).
I have to say it does not seem like a being from the light, by the way you describe it and how it makes you feel.

I have indeed. Once, in my old house, I woke up (late at night, but I dno how late) and felt the urge to look up, and so I did, and just above my door frame was a light blue orb, with a white spiral inside of it, spinning. Ik now I wasnt dreaming, because I felt fully awake, and had full control over my reactions. I hid under my covers (being young at the time) and when I looked again, it was gone. Strange really... I had alot of spirits in that room, or just some really big ones atleast.

And I dont know, my minds, alot of the time, is focused on the spirit world at night, from the weak presence in my room, to if there'll be any shapes in the dark or not, and why they apear for me. I suppose that counts though.

Are you doing any kind of spiritual questing or are focusing your intent on anything of a spiritual/magical nature
What do you think it is

Alot of the time I talk to the presences around me, so I spose in a way. And I dno if it counts, but I like to, and do alot of the time, trace letters in the air with my finger, and let my eyes sort of, unfocus in a way that I can see the fuzzy outline of the letter hanging in the air, and do words ect.

And I think this spirity thing is just a being of pure energy or somthing, seeing as it seems to have no constant shape. I believe its entered my dreams a few times, following me around in them in the form of the undead, and even once a huge worm-like thing with a ring of teeth, like a leech, but many more teeth, and was chasing me underground, bringing down any buildings I tried to hide in, though I escaped from the building before it had time to fall.

You do not appear to be unduly bothered by this 'energy'. If you are ok with it coming into your space, that is your decision. I would just say again, be careful of where you put your intent.

Im not overly bothered by it, since, for now, it hasent made any attempt to come at me, but I will. Thanks for the advice

I think it is cool that you can trace letters with your fingers and still see the shapes "hanging" there afterward.
