Over the last year I have noticed some specific faces in the trees surrounding my house that remain the same each time I look. I have shared a few of these before here . Off in the distance is a tree that has also yielded a permanent face to me. It is made up of subtler shades and I guess for that reason I never considered taking a photo of it. I usually see this face when I am on the telephone, staring off into the distance while I talk (since I can't multi-task ). This particular face is quite cute to me, yet at the same time seems powerful. And I always feel like it is looking right back at me. The other day I was outside taking photos of my husband, and as I was looking back over the photos, I realized that I may have captured the far tree in one of my shots. I wondered...would the face show up? And as if magic, the next photo I flicked to had the far off tree in it and there was the face! It was the same shape I always see, but the most amazing thing was the eyes. I always see the eyes as green half-spheres poking out. But in the photo, the eyes have whites! It might not be impressive to anyone else, but I was really tickled when I realized I had captured an image of this far-off friend. And that he is translatable to a photo.
The others are all as-is, but I enhanced this last one to make him a bit clearer.

Your tree friend certainly got on the photo this time. I notice you refer to 'him'. Do you 'see' or 'feel' the face has male traits, as opposed to female

Yeah, good point. I do think of him as a him. Usually I feel my visions are of male entities. Funny that. I have had a few females. But, interesting... I have a pretty strong feeling of gender usually, one way or the other, or even if it is mixed. This definitely feels male and I also feel Greek. The Greek part might be because he almost looks like he has a laurel wreath on his head. I enjoy thinking about things like this. Thanks, Chris.

I have to say from my own perspective, I do 'see'and sense that faces and images I photograph and see, tend more to have male characteristics. I do experience female energies, but they tend to be less prevalent. I wonder why this is

Wow, nice to know that there may be some pattern to this because you experience similar. I must think about it more. Meanwhile, do you have any thoughts as to why?

I am a bit stumped on this one. I have more pondering to do.
I will keep you informed if I should come up with any theories.

Great pictures, I see a lot of faces similar to these in larger flora, with the human animal paternal type look about them, its incredible that things manifest like this, and seems to be by design that they appear kindly, wise, paternal, thoughtful, unthreatening, contemplating, curious, peaceful, sympathetic, understanding, & good, never angry? Why should this be?

Thanks, Starchie. We are definitely onto something here about the prevalence of maleness in nature spirits (as I discuss with Chris in the posts above). For me, the answer points toward Green Man (doesn't everything for me ). And though I know well that female plays a large and equal part in spirit and existence for balance, for me nature has appeared to be mostly male. I was very pleased to see these soulful, peaceful faces, though I have seen as many fierce faces around in trees. It makes sense to me given my understanding of the father force which encompasses fierceness, drive, authority, determination, direction, etc. He wears many hats and is also as you said, "kindly, wise, paternal, thoughtful, unthreatening, contemplating, curious, peaceful, sympathetic, understanding." He is good, very good, if not a little scary to me at times. His fierceness is edgy, but I feel absolutely vital to the balance of life. Here is an example from my files of a serious face. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/tree/genie3403.jpg) Whole tree

Whenever I look outside, I am drawn to look for the spirit in trees. I often see a tree with many medium sized faces. Sometimes I see the large face that makes up the whole tree or even a cluster of trees. And in photographs that I can examine closely, I can see the tiny entities and faces that make up the whole. Like in the physical realm of bodies being made up of parts, organs, cells, molecules, etc., spirit appears to have this same sort of order. Large spirit being comprised of many smaller and so on down to tiny. Below is a recent photo of the tree cluster surrounding my shed in the afternoon sun (a very prime time to capture spirit, particularly hatted Green Man type spirits).
![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/tree/shed5130_2a.jpg) Tinted his hat and copied eye on right to left as often only one eye is clear.
There is more in the photo, much more. I take lots of photos that have only a little visible spirit in them, but when one "has it", it can be quite full like this one. Here is another face from the same photo.
![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/tree/shed5130_4.jpg) A bit enlarged from directly above and tinted.
This one has clear eyes (serpent-like, which is a common type), and a hand beneath his chin I believe. He does look rather abstract. I think often these faces I see in foliage are physical symbols/representations/signposts of what would be seen fully with good clairvoyant vision ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/graemlins/evolution.gif) , and mine is still in development. I see fully when in an altered state, but not yet with full consciousness. And finally, speaking of symbols, I sometimes see symbols within the structure of light and leaves. I learned in a dream that these symbols I see are a signature of "father nature". Original size crop

Quite often I see flowers drawn with 5 or so pedals. I see arrows and eyes drawn, lines, boxes and what looks like foreign alphabet. In this above I see a quartered circle. It is meaningful to me because I have spontaneous drawn this in my visual journal many times knowing at a hidden level that it has some significance in spiritual evolution.

Thanks for commenting, TVSAT. "Scary but cool"! Over time my fear has subsided some. It was kind of confronting at first seeing a few of the more fierce faces and entities. But for me conquering my fear as much as possible is my goal. I get so much more information when I am not too freaked out to have a truly good look. Still working on it though...

That sounds normal to me. Was it on the trunk of the tree or within the leaves?

Trunk of the tree is the base of it. It is hard, I know , to describe things that are abstract, like seeing a face in a tree. But I find it fascinating that you saw it and I thank you for sharing it here. Plenty of people email me personally to let me know they see things similarly to me. And younger people, like yourself, seem to see spirit more easily. I believe it is likely that they have not formed such rigid boundaries of reality. And in some cases, they simply have intact clairvoyance (like my friend OMJ). I also think that as you continue to look and strive to see more, you do see more. I also think when we share the things that we see it can trigger other people, open their minds and enable them to see more, too. Yesterday I had my curtains open wide including the sheers so more air could flow into the room. As the afternoon sun began to descend I could see faces in the huge trees across the road from me. They were magnificent. I could barely tear my eyes away. It was almost uncomfortable that I could not stop looking every few seconds. The faces would change as the sun set further. And I would look out and be startled to see new ones, some gigantic. I have many photo examples of tree spirits. Here is one. The photos turned out blurry this day. I don't think I moved the camera, it was just a day that I was capturing that interdimensional blur. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/tree/busheyes4686.jpg) The bush has two kindly eyes.

Well, no I've never kicked them for sure! If anything, I feel awe and love for these tree spirits. I have said to them out loud a few times, but mostly in my mind..."Hello," and "Wow, I see you." And I feel grateful for them because I know they exist and it makes my life so much better to know that.

Tree spirits that I see look to me like a mixture of human and animal characteristics, most often canine, but this one kind of reminds me of a panther. I see these specific faces whenever I look at the tree(s) throughout the year(s). They are usually collaged with many other faces and some surface stronger than others at times.

I agree it does favor a panther to me too. That was my first thought when I looked at it. You've really got a lot of great tree spirit capture pictures. I always enjoy seeing them and your interps of them.

Well, that's the big question isn't it? What does it all mean. To me, tree spirits, the soul material that makes up trees and vegetation, look a lot like dogs (and other various animals). I see them frequently and that is how it looks to my eye. So I would think that this is why you saw the dog face in the tree.

An interesting synchronicity to this topic of dog/wolf faces in trees...the day after this post I was watching a program on psychic children. There was a teenage girl that said she could communicate with trees as far back as she could remember. She was standing in a field with some large trees and she said [the trees told her] it used to be a cow pasture. Referring to one large tree she said that this was the "wolf tree" and provided shade for the cows. There was no elaboration on this at all and they jumped to a new subject. But she called it a "wolf tree"! She also mentioned that when some trees on a neighbouring property had all been cut down for construction, it was emotionally traumatic for her. This sounded like my experience when the huge old trees across the road from my house had all been cut down about two years ago. I had been out shopping and as I neared home, I smelled the eucalyptus in the air. And then I saw them all cut down and it was like I was punched in the stomach. I was utterly overcome with emotion. By the time I pulled into my driveway and stopped the car, I was heaving with sobs. It felt like a mass murder.

Wow, how intriguing. I would've liked to have heard more on the tree spirits. Especially the wolf spirit part. I wonder why it is that the parts of a show that we want them to expand on the info, seems to be the parts of the show they skim past??? That's so aggravating! I agree, Alisa. I think you must have a connection with them for it to effect you so deeply and passionately.. It's sad for me too to see trees cut down especially old trees with so much history in them. Maybe someday someone will write a book or make another show and dedicate more time and info to tree spirits.

You read my mind, friend! I loved your post. I thought the same thing...why did they stop after she said it was a wolf tree?! What does that mean! But I guess the topic of the show was confronting enough...psychic children. To go into detail of how they divine would be beyond psychic children 101 I think. And yes, I would love to see a show or book with much more on tree spirits. God willing, I will do one myself! On that note, I would say, one of my husband's friends, an education admin, mentioned to me once that a tree spoke to him. One word..."Be". ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/graemlins/tree.gif)

Aw cool! wonder if "Be" meant just exist as you are or if it meant something else. That's so fascinating! I hope you do write another book someday. You've traveled far in your journey and have observed and learned so much. You've much knowledge that you could share with the world. I love your little tree spirit graphic. It's so cute!!!

He did interpret "Be" to mean to just exist as he is! Because I did have to ask, "what?" several times until he told me "Be, as in to just exist as I am". Awww, you remember my attempt at first book. You ----> ![[Linked Image]](http://www.metawake.info/images/graemlins/angel7.gif)
