As probably mention before the turkish super league tv rights expires in 2010 and is mostly expected to change hands..
The biggest and by so far only oppostion is set to be D-Smart the Dogan Holding group which also own Kanal D, StarTv etc..
I remember being quoted b4 that mr boulos have good business relations with Dogan Holding group which i think would emrace us on seeing the turkish soccer league back in our homes.
The Digiturkwebtv Subscriptions are absolutley ridiculous they have gone through the roof with price increase to 250USD a season!!!
On the other hand when we lost ligtv we were promised that we would be replaced with another sports channel and i understand these things cant take time but is still yet to come after a year..
If use are having trouble picking one let me suggest D-spor...
though id jus leave a little feedback which were i think the majority of the turkish community would aggree with me..
kind regardss....

getting Digiturk is becoming easier each day. they started an IPTV service. the box that connects to TV is US$159. the service has 15 channels including Lig tv and annual fee is US$249. They started delivering boxes in US and Canada may start in Australia soon. I'm considering it as it's one third price of UBI. But I have to upgrade my internet plan that's additional $17 per month. It'd cost me $37-38 per month in total. http://www.digiturkwebtv.com/kanallarPage.aspx

I'm on optus cable. I'm already paying for my internet. So IPTV is value for money for me. See my above calculation. whole digiplus package would cost me $37 per month including the internet plan upgrade.

Ye but what digiturk will be offering is jus like a settop box/router type device connecting direct to your tv jus to save the hassle of watching it over the computer where as you still would need an internet connection at your home, what ever channel you watch it will be counted as downloaded data to your bill or will be capped, they did not mention any iptv service type like tpg soul does whre their iptv doesnt go toward their download limit, i asked an online customer service they said they would recommend a unlimited downloads plan where i dnt see any plans here in autralia less than atleast $120 month at atleast 1.5mbs
