It took me nearly 12 months before I finally revealed the most hated government department and only last week, I decided to start the poll to find out who the worst office is of the most hated government department and by the look of it, its a neck and neck race between Pine Rivers and Mermaid Beach, closely followed by Ipswich (P.S. Some got confused as to which Ipswich was which). So what I am about to do now, is I would like only the members that post on this forum, not the ones that don't, to give me a poll on the question that is haunting me. From the day that your problems started who do you think gave you the hardest time, repeat it again, who do you think was more responsible for causing the damage to you and your family. Was it JAB (CPIU) or was it the Department of Child Safety, or was it a combination of the both above?

Look I can tell you honestly that I only have one AXE to grind over the arresting officer that never arrested me in the first place as I went voluntarily to the Police station and I will face her after my day in court if all goes well and ask her FACE TO FACE one and only simple question because if I don't get a thorough answer, this matter will go to GOD if I have to.
But mainly I was surprised that the Cops, yes even the one up the top warned me about DOCS and I even got a strong impression that they pitied on me, like as if something was going to happen that I never expected.
Actually till today it remind me of the movie called GHOST staring Patrick Swayze where in the movie as people died, their body and soul separate and after separation has taken place, if you're a BAD person and you are about to go to the gateway of hell the BLACK Devils come and drag you away.
I still feel that today when I sat in that chair at ?????????? Police station where Constable ?????? Offered me a nice cold drink and had a look of pity on her face only to walk out of the fucking interview room where the BOSS (Not saying how far up the ladder he was) also walked in with that same look and said nothing but warning me we are not responsible what DOCS do and I was just bewildered to what in the fuck was going on.
Bewildered be fucked the BLACK Devil was about to blow over my family and that Black DEVIL IS THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILD SAFETY IN ONE OF THE THREE MOST DESPISED OFFICES and one day I will reveal the office and the CSO and I challenge her to take this matter further.

In my opinion - and witnessing what they did to my husband and what happened with me after his death - I'm left wondering if they feel somewhat GUILTY.

And therefore pity you for a situation that they have put you in and can't extract you from.

I think if there were no ex police officers in Docs the incidences would be lessened, and there too is needed stringent guidelines as to the people employed in these depts....and as far as employing university graduates with very little lifes experience sets for this sort of behaviour..
the best candidates would be those who have had lifes experience......then maybe families have more show of being repaired and less chance of the blanket statement which rings through at all levels of gov....like ...in the best interest of the child.....that is the biggest cop out.....I wonder which of their psychs thought of that one.

They don't just employ university graduates.

All a CSO needs is a diploma and a valid driver's licence. Diplomas come from TAFE.

It's the degrees that come from universities and not all CSOs have degrees.

I have to comment here that the three polls are starting to show a pattern.

The Department of Child Safety is the greater of both evils and probably the root for the problem to what has been going on today.

When it comes to being fairly treated or not fairly treated Child safety is winning hands down on the unfairly treating of clients, but what is surprising is that some are saying they were fairly treated by the Police and in the next box with less counts in it some are saying that they were unfairly treated so what sort of conclusion are we going to get here.

Now this one gets me. Why? because I think and I could be wrong that this poll somehow is attached to the poll above trying to show that some of you have been fairly treated by the Police because its a possibility some of the Police depending on the lack of evidence against the accused feel guilty to what is about to happen to a person by warning that person what Child Safety is about to do with them.
Its a possibility that some of the Police that work hand in hand with Child Safety having families of their own are having second thoughts working with this department.

Helen ...I tend to agree with you there......it is good to see that some of the policing body are not that bad.....and like you say many of them would have children themselves.....but unfortunately even their hands are tied...gov heads would be more of the problem....it would be interesting if they were able to speak out freely...but then, they too would lose their jobs wouldnt they.

It doesn't surprise me the Dept is winning hands down in the unethical, unprofessional stakes in every way!

You know what I would love is 100 JAB cops to join the forum and I would make a POLL just for them to see how many disapprove on Child Safety practices or how many have come to a disagreement with them over the way they handle the case regarding to Dirty Tactics

What I'm about to tell you IS GODS TRUTH BELOW.
About 2 months after my headache started with DOCS and JAB both the COP and that DOCS DOG came to our house and of course I was not home because I was thrown out of my house months earlier ,,,, see what happened was the door knocked, my missus opened the door and it was Constable....... from JAB and the whore from DOCS. The DOCS bitch was speaking to my wife, the police woman had a nasty look on her face and had a go at the DOCS woman, shook her head, smiled at the wife and just walked away, leaving that fucking rag by herself. We have documented this and till today we found this very puzzling.

Did someone say on the forum they wished they were a fly on the wall? I would have paid a thousand dollars to be invisible and sitting in the back seat of that car on the way back to the DOCS office. Now, if the cop is reading this, you now know who I am. I thank you for sticking up for my wife, but unfortunately after my trial and if everything goes well, I want to meet you face to face.

I've had a thought which has no relevance to anything.

Although JAB still post signs etc in their office (particularly in my area) about being the CPIU they are commonly known as and refer to themselves as JAB.

CPIU... Child Protection Investigation Unit... Seems to me that this name is too NARROW MINDED. It is a name which would suggest that all they do is protect children. Somebody is already crowned with this glory...

Whereas JAB... Juvenile Aid Bureau... Is more an umbrella name for a service that not only encompasses abused children, but truancy, juvenile crime, crime against children etc.

I don't care what they call them I call them JAB,JAB,JAB at the end of the day they're the suckers that have to follow DOCS around and try to find ways to charged people even if there is no real evidence but DOCS tells them too.

And that is according to my daughter! I've actually struggled to answer her questions... I mean, I don't know if certain CSOs are that way inclined! I'm no expert on the identification of sexual persuasion - but I could see why she asked in the first place.

On that note, I am not saying that all the women who work at the Labrador office are batting for the same team... I know that quite a few of them are married to members of the opposite gender.

I personally don't have any issue with homosexuality.

If the person can do the job and do it properly, then I'm not concerned about it.

With government departments the equal opportunity factor comes into play and it wouldn't look good if a person of that persuasion decided to take litigation against DoCS or whomever else because they were not employed due to their sexuality.

Needless to say, their sexuality can not impact on the child.

So my theory could be correct that not all the JAB cops are dogs. But I do know that I was told that a X cop Joined DOCS as a CSO. Hummmmm interesting, someone also on this forum said the same Hummm.
2 months ago in the Courier Mail there was a story about the recruitment drive by DOCS where they were looking for more men to join DOCS mainly from the police ranks as they admitted that they wanted their own heavies.
The Police upper management was totally against the idea.
GOOD I AGREE. Could you imaging this if they had their own storm troupers.

Well, police in themselves are not a friendly bunch when they put on their uniforms or walk through the office door in civvies.

Having the DoCS attitude in the DoCS office is bad enough but having the police attitude in there as well?

the excopper and JP i dealt with was a team leader.....and she was of the worse kind.....and from mermaid beach ..I was one of many of the families that had to endure her fabricated stuff...this bitch was very instumental in removing children from secure and safe environments......last i saw of her was in the southport courthouse....as a legal adviser....so much for the justce un system.

Well that could be anybody... They have had 2 legal advisers in the past 2 1/2 years. Only one of them was an actual practicing solicitor. The other 2 were CSOs.

Not only do they move between offices, they move between jobs as well (and I don't mean jobs inside the offices).

Maybe this poll should have been opened for all to use like the previous one of around 280 people.
