SelecTV Price Increase Dear SelecTV dealer,
The Team at SelecTV would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and safe Easter.
We would like to inform about pricing changes being implemented.
Effective 1st May 2009, the prices for our Greek and Italian packages will change.
The new prices are as follows:
Greek Package - $29.95 per month (increased by $5 per month)
The Greek content will remain the same with Antenna Pacific, Fashion TV and the 3 Greek radio stations and continues to offer the most affordable Greek TV Package in Australia.
SelecTV has not increased the price of the Greek TV Package in 3 years. There has been a significant increase to our key cost components, in particular, the areas of broadcast infrastructure, technical systems and content. Unfortunately this has lead to an increase to the monthly subscription fee.
New Sales
When signing up new customers (effective immediately) to Greek TV Package, please ensure you advise them of the price increase. All new customers who subscribe before 1 May will be charged $24.95 for their first month, and subsequently charged the new monthly rate of $29.95 from May 1 onwards.
Italian Package - $54.95 per month
The new Italian package will consist of RAI International and Euronews in Italian + SelecTV's Premium Package consisting of 23 channels (including movies)!
New Sales
The new price point will not go live in until 1 May. All new customers from this date will have to sign up to the new pricing and packaging structure. Customers who subscribe before 1 May can purchase the standard Italian Package (RAI International, Euronews (Italian), Fashion TV) for $29.95 per month. Existing customers will have the choice to move to the new package structure or stay on the existing $29.95 per month.
NB: Leonardo World TV made a decision at the end of 2008 that as part of a major cost cutting strategy they would cancel the international distribution of this channel. Unfortunately this was completely out of SelecTV's control.
New dealer brochures are in production and will be distributed to wholesalers at the end of April.
