He knows as a man that he's talking to his child self, but the child self has no idea that he's talking to his grown self from the future. He just thinks he's saying hi to one of his dad's friends on the radio.

If you've never seen this I would highly reccomend it. It's a great movie to get those mediphysical juices pumpin. Also it gives one a new angle of perspective.It's what I think the movie "The Butterfly Effect" was based on.

This IS how reality is working BTW, in my experience. I have experienced my future self/selves coming back to help me and I have experienced myself going back to help past selves. This comes about in dream-form for the most part, but has been close to physical reality, too...as white wolf is me and she came to help me. She was introduced as who I come from, but I have seen myself becoming her and I know she is me in the future (outside of time I already am her).

It takes a lot of openmindedness to grasp and accept.

I do think it's very possible for it to happen quite litterally. And yes, it does take an open mind. But again it seems very familiar too. Like it's always been possible.

There are two reasons That I support this Theory:

1. I believe that many different versions of 'us' exist in different demensions all at the same time. By this I mean that there are many different versions of Jaime living many different lives all at the same time. Picture a cd if you will...on this cd are many tracks. In(on) each track there is a Jaime that is the main character. And instead of only playing one track at a time, all of the tracks are playing at the same time. But each track is just barely aware that the others exist. And each Jaime is barely aware of the other. Ponder this ... The Iraqui war, the Civil war & Vietnam - all happening NOW! All at the same time just in different demensions & parallels. There is no past.No present.No future! It's all happening now. The thing is, that right now 'we' are only aware of what's going on in this demension.

This is how I veiw time. This is also how I veiw duality. Sometimes I think that we become minutely aware that our other selves exist. And sometimes I think that we do actually visit our other demensional selves like Alisa explained above. Why do I think this you might ask? Because think of all the stories of dopplegangers( a persons exact repplica or parallel self) that have been reported following people around, & have even seen by people other than the people being followed. In some cases people actually think they're seeing the real person, only to find out that the real person (or the version of that person that they know to be 'them' in this demension) wasn't even there at that time! In these cases I think that a persons doppleganger is merely a version of themselves visiting via astral travel from their demension during their sleep. Just as I'm sure that if this demensional Jaime fell asleep & astrally traveled to another demension where another version of me exists, I could very well be showing up visually in that demension, as that Jaime's doppleganger.

I also think that we can simply pop in & out of our other lives that are being lived at the same time to help guide ourselves, during sleep. If all of our lives were being lived seperately, one at a time, than It would take forever to live each life, learn each lesson & go back to the otherside to put it all together. But if we're living our incarnations all at the same time in different demensions, than we learn everything at once & don't have to keep ging back & forth to get our lessons.

But the 'trick', is that we can't be fully conscious of these other selves of ours, or it would mess up our human concept of time. So I think that we purposely are unaware (at least here in this demension) of these other selves, so that we can't bounce in & out of these realities screwing w/the lessons we're supposed to learn. Making visits to our other selves only available through the subconscious(astral travel) for help or guidence.

I don't think you were dreaming at all Alisa, I think you simply remember an astral visit to your parallel self in another demension. But humanistically, you can't be fully aware of that - because we're initially set up to forget that. Could you imagine, this Alisa going to another demension to tell self "Hey in the life I'm conscious of, I've already learned about guilt so don't really pay attention or focus on it too much here...just thought I'd save ya the trouble!" Ahh I think that could be disasterous. So we have to be unaware...until we're not.

2. Energy. if our souls are pure energy,and energy operates on frequency, than it really isn't hard to wrap your mind around being able to bump into our multidemensional selves, or others from different demensions through frequency is it? To manifest, ghosts are said to suck what from your electrical devices? - Energy. To catch etheral energy as proof of the paranormal, we use what? - Electronic frequency. So really it's just a matter of certian energies ridding certian frequencies & manifesting in different ways between the different realities. I think that my theory above listed as 1., is also a very good example of 'bleed throughs' or 'imprints' or residual hauntings. I think that these are just examples of us witnessing the actual events taking place in real time, but we are unaware of how time really works as humans , so we see it as the past , & think that we're witnessing ghostly activity.

To come to this conclusion, think of Gettysburgh, are they ghosts that haven't yet moved on, or is the energy so strong from the demension we believe to be the past, that we're able to see it as it is still happening? ... tell me what you think...

To me, my dreams are a reality as valid as my waking. Reality is much more subjective to me these days. So when I dream I take it into full consideration. And I agree that I was at the time simply remembering an astral visit with a parallel self.

I also remember reading a few experiences people have shared in which they bilocated and in which people saw them in two places at once. And maybe it was indeed one of the many selves slipping over to the dimension of person who was telling the story.

Thanx Alisa , I've read about that type of experience too. I've also read about consintrated astral travel in which the person means to bilocate & has been spotted in two places at once. have you ever heard of this?

As usual, I believe it. I try to err on the side of things being true and people being sincere. ...it always opens my mind up more allowing more things to happen to me when I do this. And a vast majority of people are sincere. It is actually uncomfortable for most people to lie (not including sociopaths). Hence why lie-detectors exist...people exhibit signs of stress when lying. So odds are a person is telling the truth or their version of it when they freely express themselves.

I believe it also because I can truly conceive of it being so. And it seems when people have sincere experiences the experiences are so strange and unexpected (like climbing under the sink and entering into a wormhole).

Most of my extraordinary experiences have been totally unexpected and not what I would have guessed at all.

My vote is "yes" it is true. And now by incorporating this into my belief system, maybe I'll experience something similar. Bring it on.

You're most welcome Alisa! I believe it too. His expressions (although he spoke a different language),seemed genuine. I find when looking for truth, that it's the human expressions & mannerisms that more or less convince me.

He seemed in awe himself, like he couldn't explain it, & that's another reason I tend to believe his story. Most frauds present themselves as "so sure". I was comfortable w/his confusion, it just added to the truth of the experience. Glad you liked it, just remember while searching for that windex, not to crawl ALL the way into the cubboard!!!! ...well I guess you don't really have to worry 'bout that, your other self will find you!

This is a very interesting debate! I'll admit, I do believe that the spirit works upon frequency - as also I'm in faith of String Theory, but, thats for another time.

I remember watching part of a movie, in which someone is getting messages from their dead girlfriend through static in the television. Televisions work on frequency, and static is said to be the televisions interpretation of ions and electrons in the air, hitting the areal. Though, on thought, it could be sporitual energy? Iv'e always disliked static on the TV. There was something eerie about it.. Same with mirrors..

I too am a fan of string theory & almost mentioned it, but didn't know if I should bring it up. Thank you for doing so. String theory makes alot of sense to me. In my opinion, it almost cancels out all the laws of 'physics', leaving all those 'old fashioned' scientists to start leaning more towards the laws of 'quantum physics,which alot of them resent. QP has been the subject of much debate when trying to incorporate it into our existance mainstream. I feel it's a set of laws that we should consider as the 'missing link' of our existance. String thoery - I wish more people would pay attention to it!

I agree with your reasons as well in adding to Hakan's validity -- that he seemed as surprised and at a loss to explain it himself. Not so self-assured as if trying to concoct an airtight story.

As for TVs, I feel they are a strong medium for spirit. But having said that, I suppose it is made more valid because I chose to believe it (as I see spirit in a terry cloth towel sometimes just as easily as anywhere). But, I once came across a website full of spirit photos that included this image that appeared upon the TV screen when the photographer photographed the TV showing Camilla and Charles' wedding.

I finally watched "Frequency", Jaime! Here is the strange, but true thing...I had set it to record on TIVO several days before we discussed this topic. It actually recorded on 03 March. I had chosen it amongst several other movies and totally forgot about it, the name of it, and also the summary didn't really stick with me. Once I saw that it had recorded, I meant to mention it to you as a major synch but decided to wait until I found time to watch it, which I did last night!

What a great, great movie. I was glued to it and felt on the edge of my seat. Though it was in general an excellent flick, there was an underlying message of truth in it that I could sense, just as you suggested. For me it was validation about our future and past selves shaping our present self.

Well well well, I have been wanting to ask if you ever got around to renting it but didn't want to seem too pushy. I'm glad you got to watch it for free, it's such an old one that I can't really see paying money to see it, but I do anyway every once in a while because I love it so much.

Another cool thing is that about 3 days after mentioning it to you, I had karl sit down & watch it w/me, It just so happened to be on TV, & he had never seen it. He loved it! I thought to myself about telling you this synch that occurred just days after mentioning it. But as usual I felt that it might be too much synching for one who didn't know me that well. Knowing you much better I now realize that I should have told you about it. And looking back on the date you first posted about this, I now also realize that I may have actually viewed w/Karl the exact airing that you taped, since I ended up seeing it about three days after you opened this post which was March 01. You ended up taping it on March 03, & if you think abpout our time diff, I'm always a day behind you(in a nine hour span). So when you opened this post the first time I mentioned it to you on March 01, it was actually Feb 28 for me. Three days later I watch w/ Karl, makes it exactly March 03 - the exact date you had already set TIVO to record it! How 'bout that?!

I'm thrilled that you liked it so much, gald you enjoyed it. Now you know why I wondered what David's opinion on this would be, having such a metaphysical & spiritual wife & being so close to this peice of equiptment himself in the past.

Wow. It just amazes me the syncs. I am at a point (today) where I am wondering, how much should I read into them. I know they deserve my full attention, and that I will give. But as I said, I remain gun-shy about saying what it means. Because I am tempted to think that with our continued synch on this movie, it might mean something extra or more. Like should I take it as a further validation that our future and past are working together? I believe this to be true, but is it erroneous to interpret syncs such as this as validation of a specific truth?

Might syncs only be validity of the magnetism that draws us together in the great pattern of intentional reality? Is there something to be read from syncs specifically, or should we just continue to be in awe and realize it is all intentional but slippery to predict specific truths or outcomes from a sync?

What are your thoughts Mz Jaime?

Oh and as for David, I doubt he buhleeves too much of anything outside of physics and science. Maybe we are together because we are opposites in this way. He didn't watch this movie with me either. At the moment, if characters aren't chasing each other for 15 minute stretches or hacking each other to bits, he won't agree to watch. I'm no longer afraid to watch horror movies of any sort, but I also don't feel at all drawn to them unless they have a fantastic story. Thrillers, yes, action pix for the sake of action totally lose my interest. I actually fall asleep if the actions scenes go on too long. I need plot. Lotsa plotsa.
