Neko is the Japanese word for the domestic cat. - Wikipedia. For a long time, I've believed that people's spiritual guides relate back to animals. For a long time, I've known mine have been cats. Most, if not all, of the spirits I see and guide me have very feline features. I've come to call then Nekos. The Japanese word for cat, they have come to be associated with anthropomorphic cats - often featured in Manga's and Anime, too. I was looking over the site, when I saw the back-garden webcam. Something tugged on my consciousness, as if wanting to show me something. What I saw when I examined it made me feel slightly surprised.. ![[Linked Image from i678.photobucket.com]](http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv141/Valynard/webcam_back1.jpg) This is the original. When I looked closer, I got this. ![[Linked Image from i678.photobucket.com]](http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv141/Valynard/webcam_back3.jpg) The drawing over the top isn't so good, but it gives a rough ides of where to look.. Most of me was sure this was for me to see. Otherwise I'm simply a passer-by on someone else's intended spirit, but, I don't believe that. I'm not sure that is possible. What amazed me more then seeing it was the detail I could pick out. Maybe half of it was visually, and the rest was seeing spiritually, I don't know. But, even if you don't, I see the detail.

OMJ, always glad to receive enlightenment from you. Thanks for outlining the photo...I see what you mean. I don't see the detail you see and maybe that is because it is your vision, just like I probably see great detail in my stuff that no one else sees. I like how you explained it. If nothing else, the back garden webcam is a great crystal ball for scrying spirit, eh! In some of the books I have read about other people's spiritual experiences, there have been few people who identify with the feline. One was Dana Redfield. The entities/aliens/guides she experienced were leonine. I like that you call it Neko. I called my dog Tsuki (Japanese for moon - as in moon goddess). Any other cat-spirit experiences to share?

Did you know the name Helen comes from the Godess Hel, who was the goddess of death?
Its where Christianity gets the name "Hell." Since her domain was Hellheim.
Off subject, I know. xP
