Abstract: Adoption of Collaborative Trajectory Options Programs (CTOP) in airspace has been hampered by a lack of willingness of a majority of airlines to participate in CTOP as there is a lack of information about benefits of CTOP. At present, there are only selected airlines that are considering participating in CTOP. One open research question is how much benefit an airline get by making a decision to participate in CTOP.
